Woot!!! Lois is very determined to bring Lex down!
This is exciting! I hope she gets more involved with this plan. She's thought about it before but had nothing on him, but this may have been the last straw. :)

I just hope they don't push aside the vendetta Chloe has against Lex. Maybe they could work together to bring him down. There would be great potential for some good Chlo-Lo scenes.

I am sorry but wouldn't it have been better for Lois to be driven to get Lex after everything he did to Chloe and her Aunt instead of the boy she shared her first kiss with?

I don't think it was about Wes as much as it's about turning people into mindless drone-like assassins for your own personal abuse...

I thought Lois' declare to go after Lex was simply awesome, but no matter what she does someone will always find an excuse to put her down.
Anyway I thought Clark and Chloe's expressions after that declaration were priceless, like wow - never knew she had that in her. :D

I don't think they've even acknowledged that Lois knows about Chloe and her mom. I'll hope that that falls on Lois's radar at some point.

Yup, Lois doesn't know what happened to Chloe and her mom.

I seriously doubt she even knows about that. I mean, in Tomb, last season, Lois was completely surprised to find out that Chloe's mother was mentally ill. Chloe never told her. And, considering Lois wasn't in Freak or Progeny, I would bet that Chloe never told her about that too.

But she doesn't know about that. I don't think they've told her.

I agree -- I think that the whole project was so repugnant to her (as it should be). The fact that Wes was the first boy she ever kissed added a personal, emotional, element to the vendetta, but I think it's also just the fact that Lex's project is pure evil.

Love that they're finally giving Lois the role she deserves. Looking forward to what's in store for her next season.

Lois doesn't know anything about Chloe and her aunt Moira. If she does, then God help Lex. She didn't even know in Tomb that Chloe has a history of mental illness in her family, and blames herself for Chloe's condition instead.
Both of Chloe's and Lois' motivations for taking down Lex is now because he has hurt someone they care about, and for horrendous experimentations on innocent people. Per Lois' own words, after she said Lex is going to pay for what he did to Wes, she also said that, "And I'm going to make damn sure he isn't going to do this to anyone else."
I have faith in Chlo-Lo and Clark will help out too. No need to pit them against each other.

I guess we can just forget about any Lexois romance next season.
Good. :)

Am I the only one who thinks it would be perfect oportunity for Chloe, Lois and maybe even Lana work together? They all want to bring Luthors down.

I want Chlo-Lo to work together. I think it could be an awesome storyline if handled right. Their relationship is one of the few on the show I can stomach at the moment.

Go Lois.
I thought that was really great. Shows Lois starting to go down the path that leads her to being the lois we all know and love from the comics. Now instead of being the comic relief lois could be the young lois she should be.
And they set it up nicely, I thought, with the things she was saying about always being dumped by her boyfriends, her rocky relationship with the general... she's basically been on her own and had to fend for herself. And the whole Wess thing was great too...lois doesn't strike me as a person who makes a lot of friends. She's not close with either her sister or the general. Chloe comes the closest as far as family goes and she's barely with her. So when this thing happened to Wess (whom, from this epi. was really close and dear to her heart) it wrecked her. LOVE how she went military minded towards lex. She's going to be a real thorn on his side.

I don't get the impression that Chloe has told Lois (or Jimmy for that matter) about her meteor freak status, or her mother's.

ITA. And I really like that they had her lose some of her ability to help because she is at the inquisitor. That would drive her to work at the DP for a totally different reason than Chloe. Chloe loves journalism itself, and the DP is her dream. For Lois, it's not so much that she cares about the DP, but rather what it can do for her, which is to give her access to things and credibility that she couldn't get when she worked at the inquisitor. It's more of a means to an end.
What I loved more about this episode is what she thinks of The Inquisitor now. She never dreamed of being reporter for a big title like DP (that's Chloe), but she was happy that Inquisitor let her chase everything she wanted to. Now she can see a big newspaper title can actually make a difference in the world and I think she will become much more serious reporter (because of Wes) and try to land in the DP, not because of ambition, but to make a difference and help the world. A true Lois Lane :D

Nicely said. :) I love that about last night's epi too. Lois on a mission is always awesome to behold and I got the distinct impression that this storyline is going to carry over next season adn possibly land her in the DP. Watching that scene, my first thought was "I hope they call in that Perry actor again because they're going to need him to hire Lois".

DEFINITELY. But I think we can throw Clark into the mix as well. ;) Not to mention the JLA on the sidelines and Martha/Lionel in high political circles all aiming their guns at Lex as well. It's come down to all the good guys hating him.

:) :D Lois chasing Lex tricks, great!, like it must be; just like in the originall story where Lois is the star reporter of the Daily Planet and fights against Lex Luthor corruption.:)

Wooot! I know theres a law on spoilers- and rightly so- but this is exciting TV right here. I could 'feel' angsty build up as Clark watched Lois cry over her old friends' body.

I agree, it should be the couisns working together and spotted by Clark- if they can get him from making out with another man's wife long enough to you know, accomplsih something besides yelling at all of his supportive friends.

I actually think Lex has something to really be worried about. With Lois he finally has a formidable foe.

That's what I'm talking about. Finally, our favorite characters (Clark (somewhat), Lex, Lois) are starting to show their true colors.
