Man, I was shocked to see continuity galore in this episode. Very nicely done. I was a little late flipping back to the CW after one of the commercial breaks, but I could have sworn Clark mentioned Alicia and even Graham Garrett from Fade.

And how about the mentioning of the outcome from the "Justice and Doom" story as well.

^^I didn't hear anything about that, probably because I don't follow it.

They mentioned Lois staying with the Kents. Clark seeing Lois naked in S5.

Martha being presence during this conversation paid homage to her catching them in the bathroom together in S4.

They did mess up on the 40 back. Clark said that he would get someone to take care of it. And Johnathon sold it if i remember correctly back in season 5 before the election to help pay off lionel.

actualy someone just told me that lionel bought it and gave it back to martha.. but i dont remember that lol

Yeah, the Kent's were still in possesion of that land.

There was a lot of great continuity in this episode, but I also think that this season has been filled with continuity. IMO, there has been more continuity in this season than any other season thus far.

This episode I think had the most continuity of the series. If only they would go further back and get back into the cave legend and use it so Clark could create a Naman costume & identity for the remainder of his pre-Superman days.

Lionel did get it back for the Kents in Vengeance.

Ben Hubbard got mentioned too.... only he is from the movies, but still a cool moment.

Yeah, continuity galore... minus that whole this actor playing Wes Keenan also played Vince in Resurrection in season three... that was a HUGE continuity error in my eyes...

Lois growing into her iconic self really made this episode not to mention showing more of Lex's iconic side as well. Now if only Clark would start to develop more.

That's not really a continuity error as it's not the same character. A continuity error would have to be an error of the plot, not neccessarily because an actor who played a bit part a few years ago is used again to play another character entirely.

This has been a really good season with regard to continuity, the last two seasons really.

Steven DeKnight was probably the only writer who knows what contiunity is on this show. It's a shame he's not gonna be around next season. :(

Cool catch! Isn't Ben Hubbard the same guy Martha was dating in SR?

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised at the use of continuity in this episode, it was one of the best things about it. (do you think that AlandMiles go tired of seeing posts everywhere about how crappy the continuity of this show is? LOL)

From Alicia to Titan to Graham to Lana actually not being ok after being shot (and Lex mentioning it!), nice work on the continuity this time around guys.

Now if they could only remember about Henry Small, Gabe Sullivan, etc.,.....

The whole Henry Small thing bugs me so much, you'd think a father (and one of the only two of Lana's family left not including her two mentioned half-siblings) would go to her wedding, even if it was to a Luthor and have occasional visits once in a while....

You'll have to chalk that one up to expense. I doubt a cardboard standee would suffice.

Henry Small hates the Luthors with a passion, he likened them to the Nazis, I think he'd rather stay away from his own daughter's wedding to a Luthor.

But anyway, him not attending Lana's wedding doesn't bug me at all compared to the way Gabe Sullivan isn't even mentioned in the Progeny episode. You'd think the news of his ex-wife and his own daughter being meteor freaks and experimented by Lex should at least grant a mention of him by either Chloe or Moira.

I love how Donovan Jameson (from the Chloe Chronicles) returned as the Doctor in charge of Project Ares.
