ain't he the guy who tried to kill Lex? He turned invisible...ahh the good ol' days when all Clark had to worry about were Meteor freaks.

Now he has Aliens, Phantoms, and Super Soldiers...hehehe.

Oh my word...you guys are so funny. Ben Hubbard is the Kent's neighbor. Clark mentions that he'll lease the back 40 acres to Ben so that Martha can go to Washington.

The kents have neighbors? The hell? I swear though we only see the shot of the farmhouse, and like nothing else.

WEre's the college, were's smallville high?

These kids have no future I swear on my bosoms.

In the movie he appears once when he is leaving by car, right after Clark comes back.

He is appears twice in the deleted scenes:

1) Playing scrables with Martha.
2) Martha is getting ready to meet him. He arrives and gives her flowers and Clark, who asks her: 'You are going on a date'. And she tells him that 'No one will ever replace you father' and that 'Not even you can stop the world from spining.'

Two wonderful scenes. It is a pity they didn't make to the movie. :(

Yeah, that was pretty awesome. I loved the shout-out to the movie. Too bad those scenes didn't make into the movie.

Ben was also mentioned in 1978's Superman: The Movie, right when Clark leaves Smallville before going "north".
