Missed opportunities & things that you would change looking back to improve Prototype

Talk about missed opportunities you spotted that could have improved Prototype.

#1: I would not have made Clark kill Wes. I would have done something where Wes regains his conciousness for a brief period and sees some people in danger and saves them with Clark, but getting killed in the process because his force field is down.

#2: Cut down on the Wes-Lois scenes and make it more Clark vs. Wes.

#3: Reveal a LOT MORE of what Lionel is up to. We know he's been studying the phantom. What about the other part of Brainiac's power source? We know it's around and if anyone has it, it's Lionel. And what about the broken FOS dagger. Nobody would be stupid enough to leave it around or not to notice it if left around.

#4: Some people may laugh at this, but I think this would have been a great time to bring Pete in at the end of the episode. He left in episode 21 of season 3, and think a return in episode 21 of season 6 would have been great, especially at the end when the talk was about politics and his destiny fits right in there. If they're going to go with Martha as a US senator in season 7, then Pete would be perfect to bring in now so he can work for Lex and keep an eye on him. It seems like next season, none of the characters will be interacting daily with him, and Pete makes the most sense.

I think we're going to get the big story on what Lionel is up to in Phantom. Looks that way from the images.

It's too long. They should have been dropping us clues like breadcrumbs so we could keep speculating like crazy.

I'd move this episode back one, and put a better lead to the finale.

The episode could have gone a little more into the 'prototypes'

Some visible Clark-character-development would have been nice... I don't think he's changed very much this season...

I agree, this is a whole different story that could be a couple episodes. Having Lex show all his potential super soldiers is a great cliffhanger, but unfortunatley won't be addressed until next season. The Phantom finale should have been a 2 parter, with this week's episode being focused on finding out about the phantom and learning things with the finale focused more on destroying it.

i would of had clark actually try and fight wes. not just super heat him into submission and eventual death.

I wish they had a scene that showed how Lex knew Lana was standing outside his door when he spoke to his men.
