Sylar has a heart?!? that's almost as bad as Lex saving Clark (though not nearly as disturbing, at least someone died this time)
"I love you Clairbear!" bleegh, I didn't need crap that I thought he was dead at one point. Meh I'm not a fan of emotions, gimme ice queen ***** Petrelli that's what I liked

They had to show you another side of Sylar - it built the character more - showed yet another side of him. Showed that he's more determined now.

They also had to show the ties between the characters - build off of the relationships already in place so that we would begin to see what the writers want us to see - the question then is whether it's what's really happening or not - could be a big misdirection so we don't see what's coming for the season finale - which we all know is going to be some kind of cliff hanger that will leave us so ready for next season that we'll be tearing our eyes out. lol.....sad.....but probably true.

It's the calm before the storm. So we got to have emotional crap, lol. I liked it though. It's interesting to see another side of "Gaberial" and all the other parts of the finale are falling into place, so that's a good thing.

yeah it was really emotional when Gabriel painted in his mother's blood lol, but seriously I think one of the best aspects of the show is the character building they do. It gets you tied up in the characters on a personal level. Without it it would be just another tv show.

The blood was just creepy! Oh well, I guess that means Gabriel is now finally dead and only Sylar remains. Good. Now no one has to feel bad when they off that momma's boy! You hear that Hiro?! Now go get your damn sword fixed and finish him off! NOW!

But at least we dont have to watch Sylar battle his good nature for 6 seasons!;) He just embraced his evil side from the beginning!

I thought this part was actually good. I guess it never really made sense why a calm little clock maker would go on a psycho killing spree even if he didnt end up being special. I liked the part between him and mohinder where he showed some actual emothing about killing all those innocents and said his speal about natural selection and stuff.
His stupid mom should have just told him it was ok to be normal.... lol
