I agree.I liked when told Linderman's associate that he didn't work for him because it's him who needed him not the opposite.I was really impressed.

I was thinking that if his sister had powers, then maybe does he have powers too? Like maybe he can't get sick?

Just wondering because he gave the transfusion with his healthy blood, and if you are infected a transfusion shouldn't do much should it. Maybe just prolong. unless he cant get sick or something?

I thought the same thing. Whatever he said about his "healthy antibodies" made me wonder, does that mean he has a power or not?

i kind of assumed that since his father was a geneticist, he figured out the cure but it needed to come from a person and couldn't be injected or whatever. So Papa Suresh alters his son so that he has the antibodies to cure the disease and all the gotsa do is wait 9 months for it.

maybe his father created him as the cure for everything

That is a good point. He could have been innoculated when he was a baby and never knew it. I know if I had the antibodies and my daughter just died from the disease, then I would give them to my son as soon as he was born, but that is just me.

Perhaps he is the cure for the condition of being genetically superior, like Leech in the X-men. His father created him to relieve his sisterr from the powers which for some reason were turning on her.

Good theory Rod! I like that.

By the way, Welcome to the boards. :)

I like that theory, but since it isn't her super power that was making her sick or at least that is what Thompson said, I doubt that is it.

and also welcome to the board Rod.

Since the girl's power was to find anybody, I'm really surprised she didn't look at the picture and tell Mohinder that she knew where his sister was, and that she wasn't dead. I coulda sworn I saw a plot twist coming.

She was sick and her powers were blocked, thats why she couldnt tell him anything. Besides he is more wraped up with Sylar right now.

Mohinders power is not that he cant get sick, I think everyone is wanting him to have a power to bad. All the interviews thus far have said his not getting one.

The reason his parents had him was to save his sister. This a common practice. If a kid is born and needs a bone marrow, the parents will have a kid for a bone marrow match. Mo explained this one the ep.

They only had him to help their daughter, he wasnt innoculated to save him as well. He was conceived to be the cure for his sister. She just died before he was born! He was never sick, or was even thougt to be sick!

MAybe his powers are limted to only healing non-genetic type ailments, like gunshots, cuts, anthrax(?), frostbite and stuff like that. Curing a disease your born with is may not be possible for him.

^Did I miss something? Linderman has the power to heal ppl? Or did I just misread that??

chrisxs5

Yes you missed that, remember when he was talking to Nathan and he healed the plant! He can do that as well. If you havent read the novels, then you really need to, they explain alot of stuff! But him healing was in ".07".

You're right! I forgot about that.

Forgot about that! Maybe only things delevepoed after their birth! Still non-genetic illnesses. Or maybe he has trouble healing people from time to time.

That was only speculation on Mo's part.

I'm sorry guys, the innoculation thing does not make sense to me at all. If it was an innoculation, then there is no way he would've thought to use his blood for the cure. The clue was when he looked at the family picture while mom was still pregnant. Thats when it set in that he was conceived for the one purpose. He said his father (taking a drink; ahhhh) work on cure and found one too late. Then he made a statement on how his father wasnt late, he was. Thus meaning his blood was the cure the whole time.

yeah I agree with you now that I am thinking about it again. The innoculation just doesn't make sense.
