Does Claire shoot Peter

At the end of the show I wonder if Claire will have to shoot Peter to stop the power drain. Peter will be unstoppable the next time he sees Sylar.

you know it wouldnt really be bad. shoot peter, he dies, NYC is saved. take peter home, pull the bullet out of his head, he comes back to life, then have ted teach him to control his power. i hope somthing more exciting then that happens for the finale. we`ve already seen an X3 wolverine kills jean moment in company man with ted and claire.

If it comes to that - I don't think Clair could kill Peter - since they're related and she feels so close to him - it would be so hard for her to do. I don't think it's Peter going A-Bomb anyway - Peter just fears that it's him.

What if the bullet crushes his skull and sends his brain splattering all over everything, why doesnt he give her a knife of something, or the medecine she gave ted

I'm kinda hoping that Claire will shoot him... it will add to the drama, and result in another Paire moment when the bullet is removed from him. :p

I love Paire!!! seriously they have such a great relationship ..of course HRG/Claire is def. the sweetest. Hiro/Ando is pretty cool too.

He obvisouly regains control of the power at least temparily and since it seems that Claire and HRG have a talk about destiny in that same location - I doubt she shoots him, because if she shot him they would have to grab Peter and run for the hills before the cops came, not sit around and gab about destiny.

So just because Claire is from Texas, we autumatically assume she can aim a gun for a headshot?

I'm offended.

I'm from Texas and I've never held a gun. NBC hates Texans, or at least thinks we're country. How dare they let a TX cheerleader on two shows (FNL is the other one) shoot a gun!

Besides, it's not like it is dramatic to shoot a guy who can't die.

I agree.HRG will be the one who will shoot Peter.He's going to gun down Thompson anyway so,another won't be too hard :lol:

Peter asks Claire to shoot him because she's the only one who can get close to him if he's about to blow. It'll be too hot for anyone else. Just like she was the only one who could get close enough to Ted with the tranquilizer when he blew up their house.

I get that. But because he told her to and because it is reasonable, it doesnt make a great moment. Neither does HRG grabbing the gun and shooting him.

The whole season comes down to that moment, and I dont think (at least I hope) that it wont just be Claire walking up to him like she did in the house and shooting him in the head.

No if anything I think she will realize a tranq will do the job ala Ted, but again that would be too predictible I think.
