in this episode, when claire`s at the burnt toast diner, the news is on and mentions that a bunch of people with abilities are being rounded up and that that hadnt happend since somthing called the linderman act, which took place 4 years previously, which is one year from now. whats the linderman act? could it be a big part of season 2?

If I had to guess I'd say The Linderman Act was what created the regulations that made people with abilities basically outlaws unless they complied with the government and did exactly what they said. One of those Acts of Congress that basically defies the constitution in order to stamp out diversity in the name of "protection".

I'm guessing the Linderman Act was similar to the Mutant Registration Act in The X-Men. If the disaster is averted and/or Peter stays away from the dark side then that might never get passed, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.... yet. Dun! Dun! Dun! :p

thats true, but we will have to wait to the season finale to find out. the creators say the explosion will happen, just not in the way we think, and that will spare a lot of inocent people.

How do they live with themselves....lol

If the explosion happens but doesn't decimate New York (which no show would obviously ever do after 9/11 anyway), then an Act similar to the Linderman Act from the dark future episode's history might be put into place, one that would likely be a lot less severe/restrictive on the rights of mutant kind.
