LOL - You listed some funny scenes there - so it was hard to choose but I had to go with Clark shooting Lana - he shot her and then just acted like nothing happened - but he did remember to give some advice to Jimmy lol.........it wasn't that he shot her that was funny to me - it was the way he acted after he shot her. :lol:

I noticed the ridiculous amount of smoking as well.
I was so bored with the episode, I took to finding out who was a REAL smoker and who was just pretending for the show.

John Glover (Lionel) is definately a cigar smoker.
But I didn't see Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy) take one puff of that cigarette.

hey! these are some funny scenes indeed...i was actually having a WTH moment when 40's!Lex's car hit a moving train head on...and he just comes out with a huff of his breath!.....i was thinking "huh??"

Yeah like many ppl I picked Clark cleaning Chloes shirt but seriously CLARK COULD NEVER SHOOT LANA - EVER!!! I was surprised tht he wasnt so worried or freaked out tht she got shot at DP as in other episodes where she just gets a scratch or faints or something and he goes crazy. Completely surprised

Another funny moment for me in the episode was the car chase between Lex and Jimmy. The cheesiness of the whole scene had me rollin. They nailed the way car chases in old movies looked to a T. I loved it.

Not listed but the funniest scene had to be Clark's Chloe catch and the diversion of kssing Jimmy to cover up the fact that landing on a sofa after a 10 story drop wasn't going to save anyone.

During the chase scene, I was half expecting for them to zoom in to the front of the cars to see a Toyota symbol.

I think that MR does smoke in real life, but I think he quitted recently he was smoking like w/ fear of inhailing....

BTW why is jimmy drinking? I don't think he's 21 yet? or is he? he's younger than Clark and the rest of the gang, so he's like 20 right?

Lois is the only one who is legal. She'll be 22 I think whenever she has a birthday.

Clark is nineteen. Err maybe he's twenty soon. But season five's episode 'Oracle' Was Clark's 19th birthday. And it's safe to assume that Chloe Lana and Jimmy are all around that age, since they all graduated high school the same year. (Not sure about Olsen).

So technically speaking, none of them should have been drinking. But it was a dream. And it was 1940....

The Clark cleaning Chloe was funny, but I also had to cast a vote for Lana going to the hospital, in particular because she was in Metropolis and had to be rushed to Smallville to see a specialist. That hurt my side I laughed so hard.

At first, I wasn't even sure it was Lana beccause of Jimmy & Chloe's reaction. I was watching with my boyfriend, so I was peering and go 'that looks like Lana...' and he goes 'Isn't it that slutty chick-?' whereas I cheered 'Yes! they killed Lana!'

Damn her for surviving.

I loved when Clark shoot Lana like it was nothing. I would just like a modern scene on Smallville when he ran and checked on one of the other females first -his mother, Lois, Chloe, the cows, anything before Lana's injuries. He has to know by now nothing gets this chick down. Look, she gets shoot on the left side and the wound moves to the right side where it is not as serious as noted by her sling. She never bleeds much either. I bet by next week she could be pitching for the Yankees with that arm with no after effects. Smallville Medical Center has great specialists

The funniest scene:

Jimmy tries to get into the Talon Nightclub, gets in only because Clark Kent tells the bouncer, "The kid's with me."

They walk toward the bar. Jimmy tries to make conversation.

Jimmy: "I'd never have pegged you for a secret identity."

Clark, firmly: "And you never will."

Layers of meaning here! [SPOILER HERE] In the episode, "Noir", Clark's secret identity is that of a Metropolis police officer, going undercover to investigate Lex and Lana Luthor. [END OF SPOILER]

But in the "Smallville" reality where Clark and Jimmy actually live, Jimmy doesn't realize that Clark has an honest-to-God secret identity as a Kansas farmboy or superpowered alien (take your pick as to which one is the real identity.)

And in the future world-to-be of the co-workers at the Daily Planet, Jimmy Olsen will always have no clue that Clark Kent's secret identity is Superman! (Or vice versa!)

I actually thought it was funny that Jimmy sees Clark as someone who is everywhere and doesn't have a real job.

As for SV, it seems that they don't care if Jimmy suspects Clark is more than he seems. And they could play it that Jimmy suspects Clark is Superman in the future, but he never says anything. And to me, that does seem interesting.
