I got the impression that wasn't in the script but Welling was messing around and they left it in because of Allison's fabulous reaction to it. It wouldn't surprise me. I saw some clips of Lois and Clark outtakes and Teri Hatcher kept crying in mock horror that Jimmy was touching her boobs and the crew bust out laughing and they cut the scene. I almost got that impression with this scene that Welling was improvising and it worked.

i can 150% agree with this possibility..info about other behind the scenes stuff imply that there was alot of goofing around behind the set in this epi (maybe that is usually the case?)..so i can definitely see this playing out.....

i loved this scene even more because the "real Clark" of this dream was a suave cop, and "bumbling Clark" was just the decoy....that means that "real Clark" knew exactly what he was doing when he was copping a feel.....that was a bit much "role play" for the suave cop, dontcha think?
