Clark's red jacket

Last week, didn't Clark lose his red jacket while trying to save Lex underground?

And this week ... it's BACK!

Now that's the mystery ... how many red jackets does he own? LOL. I know it's a symbol, fits in with the colours of Superman, but ... that jacket never stops showing up.

omg i cant believe u posted this cuz i was thinking the same thing! its like doug -- he opens the closet and a wholee closet of the same outfit is there :lol:

but seriously, he needs a change in wardrobe. i used to think that it was a funny stupidity every week, but as it goes on more and more i noticed now it just plain ANNOYS ME. i mean the man has more clothes !!

I think he has about 40 of those thinks sitting in his closet - how else could he be wearing it for 6 years without the colour getting all faded.

Let's face it, he's always wearing the red jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans... I mean, when he was in high school alright, people do that, but now it's getting a little silly- not that I don't like it, but still...Seems like the look would have evolved as he aged, maybe have a red shirt and blue blazer or something...

But yeah, what about the time he reentered Earth's atmosphere and the jacket was blown to bits- I laughed the following week when he was walking around with it on.

if you watch that ep again you will see that clark has the red jacket in the end of the ep even after he left it in the water ways when hes talking to his mom!

Everyone knows what they're doing with his wardrobe but it wouldn't kill them to have him wear something a little different from time to time. That same outfit or variations of it get kind of old. I'll bet Tom thinks that too.

I couldn't agree with you more, I mean it's alright if he wants to wear it every once in awhile; but come on already! It's getting annoying to have him wearing either the red jacket with the blue shirt or the blue jacket with the red shirt. Right! He as a secret closet in the farm house or barn full of them that is opened with a secret lever or something. He liked Oliver's secret Green Arrow closet so much that he made his own and now it's full of spare red jackets.

I find it interesting that whenever he wear Red Jacket, his shirt is Blue and whenever he wear Blue Jacket, his T shirt would be red.... ehe

that is the only reason that I can think of him wearing the red jacket and the blue shirt too-it looks like the superman costume. this way it is a no brainer for clark when it comes to deciding on what to wear as a superhero. Maybe also the writers want him to seem 'all american' and the red and blue fit good. (white gets dirty with the crap he does. MAYBE we will find out one of his weaknesses is colorblindess and his mother just buys everthing in same color so he doesn't clash.

LANA: I know about Clark's weakness. He has no fashion sense.
He is COLORBLIND!!!! His mother always buys his clothes in the same colors and who ever marries him will have to shop for ALL his clothes. AHHHHHHH.
