I think the writer of this episode got all the ideas from X3 still kick a ss though

Like the Needles that was suppose to kill the heroes

Sylar and peter fighting (ice man and Pyro)

Ya my hubby said the same thing that it reminded him of Xmen..except it stoped their powers, instead of killing them.
Example The Beast lost his fur when he went near the child in Xmen 3.

i know i thought the same thing. you think molly walker has the same power as that kid from xmen who cancelled out the mutant gene. the hatian can, but it can be fought. maybe molly`s cant.

It reminded me of X3 except for the fact that this episode was GOOD. Plus, unlike x3, we know that they wont kill off every character/remove their powers because then we wouldnt have a show anymore (granted, that is five years down the road, but I can't imagine them ending the show by killing everyone.) But otherwise yes, there were some very similar plot points and themes.

Okay I am drawing a total blank here...I cant remember who Molly is for the life of me..refresh my memory.

Ya this show has alot of similarities to the Xmen, your right!

Yeah - a lot of 'mutant registration act' hints and overall x-men references. But that's cool - bound to happen sooner or later just because of what the show has going on - they did separate themselves from it though - they didn't use it to lean on or anything - it just seemed similar.

I don't think they showed us Molly yet - they just mentioned her this episode right?

Yeah i was half-expecting to see a bunch of Sentinals pop up as Nathan/Sylar's "final solution".

Exactly, X-3 was a poor adaptation of a once great story.
This Episode was all around original and awesome.

Yep, alot of times peoples stories start to run to look alike. The good part is that this one was original enough to be great. The history of those with powers is also different! Plus no one has a helmet to help enhance their power!
