It's possible I guess. I didnt see anything that would indicate that but I also missed a lot of the more minor details, wasnt paying close enough attention.

I really doubt Sylar wanted Hiro to get away.

He blew his cover in front of the entire country by flying away and exposing himself as someone with powers.

This was a move of someone desperate to stop Hiro from going back in time to stop him.

Why else would Sylar have been so intent on getting to the Hiros so quickly?

Yea, i think people are reading way too much into him wanting Mohinder to kill Hiro. He simply wanted to test Mohinder's loyalty. If Mohinder killed Hiro, there'd be no going back.

I think it deffinitely was a test on Mohinder and nothing more, but also, maybe he didn't like having to live for years as Nathan. Maybe he believes that if they go back he can survive, then he will be able to go on sucking brains in anonimity rather than having to hide for the rest of his life.

Does the Haitian block Sylar's powers too? Maybe, if he knew Mohinder would kill the Haitian, it was a selfish thing... so he could use his powers.

*gasp* Walk through walls... I just got that. Sorry.

No, i think Syler has been using his cover to collect powers from the freaks Parkman has been haulin' in, including DL, but now that he has Claire's healing ability, he figures he's good to go and nothing can kill him.

So once he hears that Peter is pinned down, he takes off to kill him. Peter is his only concern. Notice he didn't bother with the Hiros or anything, he left that to Parkman. I think he was most concerned with Peter being the only one that could compete with him.

Exactly! He was trying to prep him to kill the rest of the others with Abilities!

Not sure if its been posted in another thread, but now we know more about the strewed painting that Sylar did of Nathan in the office. People said that it was his twisted view of hte world.....when in fact he drew himself in the Oval Office, as he saw the future that we were treated to last night

I thought about the painting, too. I think you're right. Also consider this: Assuming Linderman really believed everything he told Nathan about doing good, was Linderman fooled by that painting of Nathan in the Oval Office? He thought it was Nathan that would unite the world, but it was Sylar, posing as Nathan that would destroy all his competition.

On the other topic of this thread, I agree that Sylar was going after Peter. My theory is that Sylar wanted all the "specials" dead so that he had ultimate control, but because of Peter's power Sylar can never be more powerful than Peter.

It looks so far that Lindermans plans end with Nathan in the Oval office, you would think if he knew that was Sythan then he wouldnt continue on this plan or would move to plan B.
