From the sneak peek! Hiro asks HRG to get his friends out, (DL and the rest). Hiro knew he couldn't stop the bomb but he can let the future happen. Then since Hiro helped HRG, he was moved to get his friends out, then they will all go back in TIME to STOP SYLAR or Peter. Or whoever causes the BOMB! It's gotta be!
Maybe not everyone, but use some of there futureselves to pinpoint where they where at the time of the Bomb. To coordinate a better plan.

I dont think Hiro would risk taking that many people back in time, he thinks its to risky taking himself back in time.

"Save the cheerleader, save the world" was a mistake by Hiro.
I'm sure we are all glad Claire is still around, and she indeed still end up making a difference, but saving her will not do what Hiro intended.
He figured saving Claire, and keeping her powers from SYlar, would allow him to kill Sylar - and thus stop the bomb.
But that is because he falsely believes Sylar is the one that exploded.
The dangerous thing is that Hiro STILL believes Sylar is the one who exploded.

Since the future can be changed, are we sure Sylar doesn't explode, as a twist?

Sylar saw himself blow up, Peter saw himself blow up, and in the future Peter was the one who blew up. Why would Claire let Ted get close to Peter? Was she that stupid?

She was quite upset and crying, missing her family and such, and then her dad suddenly showed up when she was at her lowest, and she just let her emotions get the better of her. The rest of the world didn't matter at that instant, only her dad...how sweet...

I don't think Claire could have stopped it from happening.
Peter Had to meet Ted, if he were to try and avoid him then he'd have to avoid him (or RadioactiveSylar) all his life, most likley just delaying the inevitable. And I don't want a "Hero" who's so afraid that they just run, only worried about themselves. 'Cause if he's not the explosion, then it's his resposibility to stop it.

I think some people are acting stupid in this series, I would be overjoyed if my body could instantly heal.

But Claire knew it would happen in NY. Why not have it in a remote desert where the damage is alot less?

i was thinking that in a spoilerfix spoiler and interview, Kristin from E Online said that Claire will have to make the decision to save millions of lives, or sacrifice a loved one, Peter obviously. So Peter will exploide. Then She also said that the explosion WILL happen but in a place that mass amoumts of people wil NOT die. So I am thinking that A) Claire will be able to get close to Peter. MAYBE just Maybe Sylar will have a change of heart to protect Hiro OR let Nathan get close enough to Peter while he is exploding either Teleport him away or Fly him off awaty from the city. So that claire can inject the needle to kill Peter. OR She will succeed bt because Peter heals he will revive again. and becuase he was "damaged" he will start to go nuclear again and then Hiro will stab PEter. Or wait a minute. WAIT. Claire will stop Peter, but in the mean time Sylar may have got Ted's power before hand, and then because he is crazy he will want to explode and he knows Claire is in close proximity and then HE WILl start to explode and Hiro will get close and finally stab him. This is probably going to be SOME FINALE where SAcrifces will have to be made.

Even Ted was smart enough to get to the desert when he couldnt control it.

I doubt Peter Nathan or Hiro will die this season. Wouldn't make any sense.

I could see them killing off Nathan, but agree about the other two.
