View Full Version : Chloe left waiting....

I felt kind of bad for Chloe when Lana runs to Clark, and she was left waiting by the car. She looked sad....:( Like she wanted to be the one to run to Clark. Am I the only one who saw that? haha. It's likely!

only in a perfect world will we get our chlark. There'd better be the best chlark moment ever in the finale.
imagine Lex's jealousy if he saw his wife AND Chloe hanging on Clark I'd pay to see that

Actually, I did feel bad for Chloe but she has Jimmy now, right? I was surprised she didn't come up after Lana went on to Lex though.

I hate the fact that Lana always gets Clark first! Chloe should have been the first person to Clark, she should have ran over to him and pushed Lana a little closer to her husband.

I felt bad for Chloe in that scene as well, but I am glad that she didn't go running up to Clark, especially since he obviously only had eyes for Lana. It would have put her in the same pitiful place that she's always stuck in--as a second choice or an afterthought. Clark pays proper attention to Chloe only if Lana isn't around. I'm beginning to think that his behavior in Progeny was a fluke. Lana is unavailable, so he hangs with Chloe, but she's not his first choice.
I wish that Chloe would develop a relationship with someone who is her equal. If the writers aren't capable of doing that, then I'd rather see her functioning as a capable single woman who is not having romantic undercurrents with Clark.

haha! That would have been great to see! I think Chloe definitely should have gotten the first hug from Clark. I mean, the girl does enough for him! Even if it was just a friendly hug...that would have been better then Chloe watching Lana swoop in.

I agree,we should have seen chloe run up to clark espcially wit the way they showed her concern tonight. The girl was almost in tears talkin to lana and was really scared yet we got no followup of her runnin to clark. And both girl hopped out of the car fast like they was concern tho lana at the mansion took forever to show concern. So I was suprise, they could have showed clana scene leadin to lexana the same, but we should have seen chlark right after.Cause wit the way they played up her concerns that was expected imo

that's a good point. It seems Clark gets stupid blidners on whenever Lana's around. It does frustrate me a bit that Clark tells Chloe how much she means to him...and he does a good job of proving that. But throw Lana in the mix, and he resorts to his old ways pretty fast.

Didn't Chloe run to him in the previews for the last 5 episodes though? I think that was cut.

Well I dont kno its hard to judge imo...I mean lana ran alil farther ahead than chloe and clark saw her after the dust was settlin, its hard to say that he saw chloe standin back.Cause when lana appeared she wasn't near chloe at that point, jus as it took lana a few sec to see lex appear. Now if both girls ran up and clark gave lana those lustin eyez then I'd agree, but since chloe stayed back its hard to say.Which is why I wish she did run up afterwards, cause far as clark knows lana was there at that moment and she caught his attention. But if chloe had run up after almost cryin at the mansion then I do think clark would have shared a nice lil moment wit her 2.Its jus hard 2 say

I saw that too. It took Chloe forever to convince Lana that Clark couldn't handle this situation. Mean while time's passing...and Clark's closer to dying. It just surprised me how quickly she jumped out. Almost like....well yea, now you jump into action.

yea I thought that 2,in the preview we see her clearly runnin towards him.Well atleast runnin alil further than she did, cause lana wasn't beside her in the preview. So it may have been cut along wit the martha lionel scene.Remember it was spoiled that martha/lionel share a big confession scene where martha address her feelings. So who knows it looks as tho it was cut sadly :\

I was having trouble with this only because Lana is a married woman now. Yes her husband is a rat ba$tard, but end your marriage first. Clark usually has very high standards of behavior he considers appropriate. I guess I'll cut em some slack because both Chloe and Lana were glad to find Clark alive....I just keep going back to Lana should have looked for Lex first and then stood by her husband's side. Doesn't matter if he was the first one to come into view or not. Hugs all around are fine after disasters in SV usually, just not that kind with your exfriends wife. Just looking out for Supes high code of ethics.

I thought that Chloe would go up to Clark first causing Lana to remember that she has a hsuband, despite the fact that she didn't want to save him. I just really hate to see those sad looks on Chloe's face.

I still think Clark is a fool for not realizing that Chloe is better for him then Lana. Some men are so dumb!!!!

I hate when the writers don't let a major character (like Chloe) resolve the scene. What, was she texting Jimmy while the whole hug thing was happening?

Same ole, lame ole.
Lana will always come first to Clark. Always has, always will. That is until he hooks up with Lois.
Anyway, I think they did cut some scenes. No surprise there either. They HAVE to cram Clana down our throats for the hundred millioneth time.
Screw Clark. Screw Jimmy. Let's get Chloe a real man who can be all that she needs him to be. Not some lust, I mean 'love' sick BDA. Not some whimpy idiot who thinks Lex is working with the Egyptians and is too scared to go into the woods to investigate.
Get Chloe a real man, darn it!

i didn't notice this supposed look, but if it did happen it would depend on what she was hurt about.
if she was hurt because Lana now knowing the secret takes a bite out of some intimacy she shared with Clark in being the sole protector of his secret, then i can definitely sympathize with that.
if it was the usual unrequited woe is me bit..then no i don't feel sorry for her at all.

It appeared that Chloe was purposely allowing Lana to run to Clark first. She stayed behind with reason. Not sure what that reason was because both characters were rather concerned about Clark's safety. It seemed she wanted to give her some time with Clark. Chloe really has been a good friend to Lana. When Clark suggested that Lex was in his sights at the end of last week's episode it was Chloe that reminded Clark to think of Lana. Chloe's always had a front seat to the Clark and Lana drama. This week was no different guys. Though it didn't make too much sense to me knowing that Chloe was worried throughout most of the episode as to what the heck was going on with Clark. Chlark usually enjoys a thank goodness your ok hug after all the danger is over. None this week though.

It would have been nice to see Chloe hug Clark butt in a friendly way. I hate seeing Chloe pine over Clark. I'm also glad she sort of took a step back and accepted that the two love and have always love each other.
Lana was concerned about Clark but she's been careful lately not to show so much emotion. Unfortunately, her emotion got the best of her again when Lex saw her hugging Clark. She really need to be careful how she let out her feelings esp. around Lex.

I thought so too, but I'm kind of glad that it was cut, because of the ex-girlfriend voicemail. Both of them would have been too much...I'm OK with them teasing that Chloe still has some awkwardness, but I don't want to see her in a full-blown pine stage again. If they had to choose between the voicemail scene and the running to Clark scene, I think they picked the right one. :)

I agree, maybe she was bein a good friend and lettin lana go ahead first...But I dont think both girls concerns were the same for clark, lana didn't seem to mind if clark was trapped down there or not.she tried to get chloe to tell her more and chloe was almost in tears scared, which is why I think sum r complainin that we should have seen chloe run up after lana. They could have still had the clana moment but they definitely should have showed chloe afterwards.Once she stopped runnin outside the car that was it,they never showed chloe again and wit her concern thruout the epi I'd expect to see her after clark was shown ok.Also it seems chloe has gotten so use to clana that she is pushin it like tellin clark lana called for help cause he was there which imo wasn't true,or her concern for lana last week.

I disagree,I dont think showin her concern means pine-mode for chloe.I think tptb can show chlark tension/chloe's feelings without havin her pine, like last night...She seem really scared and it was believable, when she left the voicemail she was jus alil worried cause he hadn't givin her an update(And he was wit sumone they both hated at that point). It wasn't til she saw the meteor rocks dust that she panic,so showin her runnin to him/huggin wouldn't have been chloe pinin.Who knows why they cut the scene but if they had kept it in it still would have been good cause wit her concern thruout it would have been understandable.I jus think its possible to show chloe's feelings for clark without her pinin, and last night was an example.

So was I, but I guess this just proves that Clexana takes centerstage over everything. TPTB care more about that than anything else.

Now what should´ve happened .......
Just IMAGINE it ......
Lana runs to Clark and hugs him ....then she let him go and go to Lex´s arms
Then Chloe just stand there, and then Jimmy shows up, runs to Chloe almost freaking out and pull her into a caring and sweet hug....releasing a deep breath feeling relieved ....
And Then Clark look at them ......with those puppy eyes and just standing there alone ...... seeing what he has be missing ......

That voicemail scene seemed very stupid to me. Chloe is with Jimmy now yet she is making girlfriend jokes to Clark? I guess I just didn't find it that funny. As for Chloe not running to Clark, I wouldn't view that as pining for Clark, just hugging him in a friend sort of way because nothing bad happened to him in the tunnel. I had more problem with the voicemail because it seemd so out of place.
