How was the dialoue this week compared to other episodes. I thought this week's dialogues were really good. Thoughts?

Very dark, very realistic - I think this was one of the top 5 episodes of the series in my book. The dialogue and acting made it that way.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS EPISODE. I had no idea it was going to be this awesome. I love this season. I loved Combat too. I thought it was going to be bad but it rocked too!
This is probably one of my favorite episode. Wait, I say that every week. :)

I thought there were plenty of great moments of dialogue in this episode. I also liked the non-verbal speech as well. The way Clark and Lana didn't have to say anything to each other, but it said everything just by the way they looked at each other. And also the scene b/w Lex and Lana was also great dialogue and great acting between MR and KK. This was a really good episode.

yea the dialogue especially at the end with lana and lex were totally awesome. There were so many layers in both things they each said... but lex really got pwned.

it had the best quotes! lovin the clex dialogue the best!
^ Agreeed, meteor. There was nothing in this episode that particularly made me go, "OMG! NO WAY!" in terms of dramatic plot changes, but the dialogue definitely made up for it. There was a bit of humour mixed in with a lot of darkness and evil and ... yeah, definitely one of the best in terms of dialogue!

i thought the dialog was really good. but there were a couple of things that bothered me. i can't remember exactly what lex said, but he said something like "You never even gave me a chance" and both lex and clark know that clark gave him way more chances than anyone should give a person, and I really think clark should have adressed that.
and also, when clark asked "were we ever really friends" i think he should have added, "becasue I thought we were, only to find out you were just getting close to me to research me" or something like that. becasue that, to me, would be the only reason clark would have questioned if their former friendship, especially in the first year or two, was genuine.

I voted "good". I really enjoyed this episode...but it left me hanging...the dialouge that was missing (though I'm sure we'll get more info about it later on) was whatever Lionel told Lana in their second scene together. I want to know what Lionel's version of the "truth" is as well as how he is protecting Clark. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Parts were acceptable, or even decent, but overall it still stinks.

Totally agree. It's nice to have some meaningful conversations and not just barbs at each other. People are actually saying things that need to be said instead of being vague and stuff.
I wish that Lex and Clark had talked things out more. They kept getting interuppted by their need to escape (silly men). I was glad to finally hear what's going on in their heads and have some things unspoken finally spoken between them. I wish we could have heard more.

Lana's was great. I loved every scene she was in.... where she had lines. *excludes the rescue part*
"I understand you are in a lot of pain. Good."

I think Lana had the best scenes and lines in this episode. Even though it was supposed to be about Clark and Lex. Lana stole the show with her actions and words.

I couldn't believe the lack of dialogue at the rescue scene (not a complaint, just an observation), we only had the Mark Snow music, not a "song" with words to listen to. It was over 3 minutes. I didn't even notice until a couple times through the episode.

I thought the dialog was great. The non-dialog was cool too. Some of the very...very soap opera camera angles and stances though-most noticeably Lex in the end when Lana is lying to him and he just turns his back on her and we get the facial of Lex with Lana behind him, I just busted up laughing-were just plain bad.

I thought the dialogue was great! Good lines, emotions expressed, characters, um, in character.
I was impressed.
Well done!
Lionel, Lana, Martha had good lines. Lex and Clark did as well, but I think it could have been better.
When Lex said that line to Clark about " the dark abyss we call my soul" I laughed so much. He's so self-loathing and melodramtic for a villain. Like a Cure song or something. Just like an "emo" kid. Aw, poor Emo!Lex needs a hug! lol
When Clark said " Nothing is ever good enough for you, Lex" I laughed there also, it sounded like they are in a troubled romantic relationship. lol (But of course, Clex still is the best thing on SV.)
When Chloe said that thing about being a stalker ex-girlfriend, that was weird. It was normal for her to be concerned so I don't know why she had to justify her calling Clark.
