It seems clear that Lex knows something about Clark having some type of ability. I wish I could watch the episode again (did not record it) and listen to exactly what and how it was said.

As I recall Lex knew something was up when he stabbed him with the bent chisel, and said something to the effect about it being so important to him to be human, or about his humanity. Lex also questioned why Clark didnt trust him with his secrets.

On the other hand he saw him bleed, and made a statement of that Clark was "flesh and blood."

So the question is what does Lex Know?

I think Lex knows that he's keeping secrets, but they're secrets of a different type (perhaps Lana or that Lex thinks Clark never trusted him and secretly hid his hatred all along).

I think Lex doesn't know what he knows.

He seemed sure of himself when he said "I saw what happened when I stabbed you with the chisel"

But you could tell when he saw Clark's arm, he didn't know what the hell is going on.

I think Lex is trying so hard to believe that Clark is "abnormal", that he refuses to acknowledge the times when Clark is absolutely human.

this has happened before, like in the beginning of season 5, when they were having a fist fight, Clark bled, and Lex looked shocked, and the Clark said something about Lex testing him himself. etc

This is so true, Lex doesn't know what to think anymore.

lex looked shocked when he pulled that sliver out of his arm and clark didn't flinch. yet he bled. thankfully he was no where near clark when they got out of the tunnels cause he would have seen him starting to heal up. i think something similar happened in season 4 and caught a glimpse of the healing power

I think the most important thing that Lex learned trapped with Clark is that Lana wanted to leave him but she married him out of duress. He heard Clark question on what threat did he use to get Lana to marry him and since he didn't do that, someone did and who would be the most likely candidate? Dear old Dad.
And it doesn't matter what lies Lana told him at the house, that little doubt about his father will now gnaw and build in Lex's mind.

Lex knows that Clark has super-firm skin. I'm kinda glad he knows at least that much now since it pretty much confirms that he'll get some sort of extensive memory wipe before the show's end. I've been waiting for the writers to acknowledge the huge elephant in the room that has a note saying "Clark wears red and blue and saves lives and so will Superman. And just to top it off, they'll probably look exactly the same."

Lex knowing Clark has powers pretty much confirms he'll end up "forgetting" it in the future.

He even recognized CK with glasses. Would've been nice if Lana and Lex had said something where they didn't recognize him.

Well, I've posted many times what they could do without needing to resort to a memory wipe.

My thoughts exactly. Plus, the rest of the note says, "Also, Superman shows up in Metropolis at the same time Clark starts working at the Daily Planet" (which a tiny bit of research on Lex's part would reveal if he got to thinking Supes looked familiar).

Lex learned that, while Clark may have abs of steel, his arms can bleed and he dislikes crawling trough holes in debris.

Clark on the other have learned that Lex's head gets really shiny when he sweats.

Lex learned that Lana was going to leave him and told Clark. And he knows Clark intentionally left the Clex behind because of Lex's actions.

Other than that, Lex doesn't know anything for sure. He doesn't what his father is doing, he doesn't know how Lana really feels, he doesn't know who Clark is, he can only make guesses.

Hopefully we will see Clark maybe try to befriend him again, only to keep him close and what not. Maybe they both pretend to be each others friend and what not.

Most will balk at that, but it would be the best too. It's the more sensible thing for Lex to do if he really wants to know. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer, that kind of thing.
