If Lana were to now tell Clark what Lionel did to force her to marry Lex, would Lionel still kill Clark (or perhaps Lana)?

Of course Lionel wouldn't kill Clark, I really do believe Lionel did what he did to protect Clark and maybe to protect Lex too.

Well, let's examine what would happen:

1. Lex would know that Lana lied about what she said (knowing there were complications with the baby as being the reason she wasn't going to marry him)

2. Lex would become very interested in why Lionel was so hell bent on making sure they got married

1.) I think that's going to happen anyway, then Lex will know exactly what Lana meant.

2.) Of course he would, Lex should know by now that he has to watch out for Lionel. Lex knew there was a chance Lana wasn't going to show up. I'm just surprised he didn't ask himself why Lana showed up in the first place if he knew there was a chance she really didn't love him.

Does Lionel's threat still stand?

In my opinion, we should all give Lionel a chance. He hasn't told Lex nor Lana Clark's secret, so let's give him some credit. He was nice enough to tell Lana he was trying to protect Clark (and I always believed that).

I noticed a change in Lionel's behavior ever since the episode, Bound. Even Clark Kent noticed a change in Lionel and said, "Look, I know this sounds crazy, but I really think he has changed. I could see it in his eyes."

When I watched the episode Nemesis, Lana visited Lionel in the hospital and she asked him, "Tell me what you know!" (Lionel looked like he didn't know whether to trust Lana or not, so he decided not to give her an answer, by changing the subject. Lionel can't trust Lana, because she's too close to Lex). So, I think we should all give Lionel Luthor a chance. This is just my opinion.

No, I don't think Lionel will ever kill Clark.

I still don't know what to make of Jonathan's warning about Lionel to Clark in Void. Does that one still stands? Or it simply because of the way Lionel tried to blackmail him in Reckoning, or is there something more to it?

^^I believe Jonathan's warning still stands. Martha also pointed out "does a person ever really change?". It would also make sense why Lionel was an MB years later in the Lexmas timeline. I think that shows it's his natural tendency to be evil.

I posted a theory that Lionel could have been the one who revived the FOS in the speculation forum.

http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72021

I then elaborated it some more here:

http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=3005046#post3005046

As you may see, it would be an incredible plot twist & an awesome turn of events.

I later started posting my own versions of episodes, and one idea I used was the one Lionel took the broken dagger, the broken blackbox and did something in the FOS. This is the episode I posted:

http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72822

In my version of episode 6.22 (Eradication), it was Clark who revived the FOS, but other than that, most of the other elements from my above theory were incorporated. I even continued this storyline into 2 more episodes (my 7.01--Fissure & 7.02--Clash).

As you can see, such a plot twist can really lead to one hell of a season 7 wrap-up of the Lionel character.

I also wonder if there is more to the picture Lionel showed Jonathan and if we will ever find out what it truly showed.

And just like Lex coerced Lana to marry him with a false pregnancy (though she was still going to leave him at the altar), Lionel coerced Martha into allowing him into her life after he either accidentally or intentionally killed her husband in Cyborg by setting up a ploy blackmail scheme. Something tells me that he did not do that for romantic reasons.
