Its kind of weird...more so if your a yankee fan, A-Rod is Hated so is Lana....A-Rod is Loved so is Lana. strange, i think anyways. just as people start to like A-Rod again we start to like Lana again. just thought i would throw that out there.

I’d say A-Rod’s popularity with Yankees fans really decreased around April 2006.….. Would you say that was a time Lana’s popularity really went down? I think her popularity really went down long before that.

But while I’m no big Lana fan, tonight’s episode reminded me that the reason fans don’t like her character is because of the writing, not because of Kristen Kruek.

I love baseball so I thought I'd respond to this. First of all, Lana and Kristin are both great, but the writers wrote her extremely poorly at times over the last season or 2. Thats why people started to dislike her. But I still love her and I hope her and clark get together for maybe half of next season.

And secondly, yankees fans are babies, they're only happy when they are getting what they want. And unfortunately they have the money to do so. And so they buy the best player in baseball and when he isnt perfect every game day in and day out they boo him and treat him like crap. And now he's playing absolutely amazing and now they're ok with him. I hope he leaves at midseason and comes to a real baseball organization like the twins.

actually this is a good analogy....because no matter what A-Rod does, some Yankee fans will find reason to get on his case. it's the same for the Lana haters around here.

You’re right that Yankee fans are spoiled. They expect their team to win a World Series Championship every single year. The fans will hate the Yankees players if they don’t do so. The fans have absolutely no loyalty for anyone. They boo Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera and Joe Torre, as if those guys never did anything for them…… I agree A-Rod should leave the Yankees as he deserves better than those fans, and those fans don’t deserve A-Rod.

On the other hand, you’re wrong to say the Yankees fans are getting what they want. The Yankees have only won the World Series 4 times in the last 28 years….. That’s hardly what they want. It’s really not a case that the Yankees win the World Series every year, like many people say.
