I could have answered that. Lana has been saying for about a year and a half that she wanted to be with Lex and she certainly didn't mind all the perks that went with living the Luthor lifestyle like shopping for that wedding dress in Paris so what's going on is Lionel made her keep her word, marry Lex and shut up about it. Lana deserved it. It's time she paid for the things she's done and this is the first step. If it benfits Clark, which it does since anything that keeps her away from him while he finally comes to his senses and sees her for what she really is, well, then it's a good thing. Just a bonus.
