Lots of evilness, but then you could see the tenderness in her eyes as she embraced Clark and his wound.

She did a really good job, I was convinced.
She keeps making herself look happy when around Lex, and then immediately the smile vanishes as soon as she turns her back.

I have to admit I enjoy lana tonight,KK was great playin an evil role and manip everyone.Tho I expected her attitude towards lionel and maybe even lex,but her confrontation wit chloe was what sold me.Even tho chloe tried tellin clark lana helped because of him I didn't get that when chloe was talkin to her.She seem to not care whether she expected lex to die while clark survive cause he's diff or what.I jus got that feeling that lana wasn't as worried as she should have been wit clark bein involve,chloe looked like she was almost in tears and lana didn't have a care in the world.For sum reason I luved that tonight,KK/lana really sold that evil-ness tonight.Great epi for KK

KK rocked her scenes tonight, especially with Lionel in the hospital. The glance of anger and hatred on her face as she first looked towards his room, the switch into the role-playing as a concerned wife and daughter-in-law to gain access, followed by a return to the fury at Lionel as she entered the room - nicely done!

That's why it wasn't anything special to me. If they had done this starting @ the beginning of the season up to now then yeah I would find it cool, but like I said, I just can't bring myself to care about Dark!Lana.

Ticked off Lana = awesome Lana. KK can play the hurt and vengeful woman better than most, and is at her best when she's hurt and vengeful rather than in love or depressed (most of her time on Smallville).

I loved her performance and cheered to myself a few times when she was letting Lionel knew she held all the cards.

Lana's demeanor was so cool but simmering underneath was this anger. For a moment there I thought the Lana I knew disappeared. But when she saw Clark, Lana's face softened and I knew that the old Lana was still underneath this hardened woman. I breathed a sigh of relief. KK was fantastic!

I liked her a lot this episode, a lot actually. My only complaint is when she turned up the music to hide the gunshots, she didn't think to ALSO do something about the security cameras that we all know he has in there. I mean come on. All Lex or a security guy has to do is check and he would see her clearly shoot the locks off, and clearly going through Lex's lap top. I'm actually hoping it happens this way ahd she gets caught. Because as much as I liked her standing up for herself this episode, she is still young and doesn't have as much experience in comvering her tracks that Lionel and Lex have. Anyways, minor gripe for an absolutely amazing episode. Its in my top 10 list for the series with Promise, Justice, Splinter, Memoria, Rosetta, Rogue, Shattered and others.

I've never been a Lana hater. Lana has had some really dumb storylines and some bad lines thrown her way, but over all Kristen has always done a good job, with what she was handed. However, the acting she did in this episode goes above and beyond what we have seen from her. This season has really seen her do an extrodinary job playing Lana.

I loved the confrontation between her and Chloe. It was apparent that Chloe knows all, and Lana thinks she knows... Chloe nails her with "...whatever you know...or THINK you know.....he has" (and they both say)"....a weakness."

Somehow I was seeing the female counterpart to a Lex/Clark confrontation.

This was undoubtedly one of her best epidodes yet.

In the first hospital scene, she was playing the part of "please, Lionel may be my only family now" to the doctors...and then as soon as she was alone with Lionel she immediately acted like, well, like Season 3 Lionel. She caught me completely off-guard, and I loved every second of it. That may have been the very first Lana scene since Season 1 where I was actually riveted. SHE was the MB in that scene.

Plus the scene with Lex at the end sent chills down my spine. She was really creepy in that scene and she even made Lex uncomfortable.

I personally think KK did horrible in this episode; she is relying way to much and making her voice deep and staring longingly as a crutch for 'good acting'. I personally didnt see any growth in this episode for her.

Im not a KK hater either, I think she has had strong episodes before. but it was very frustrating for her to once again just revert to a breathy, slow talking voice for 'this is lana upset' or 'this is lana meaning business'...kinda annoying to be sure

Yah KK was great in Nemisis, her acting was AWESOME!! I think Chloe was mad at Lana for holding out so long about the tunnels but she came through when she found out Clark was down there with Lex. Lana probably wanted Lex to die! But I love the scene with Lex and Lana when she said is someone lied to her about her pregancy that her love would be gone forever. The Lex look was PERFECT! Now the question is will Lana forgive Clark for all the cover ups? CK could just say you were good friends with Lex and I couldnt tell you because its a big responsiblity and your safety was what I was concerned about! I think if Lana hasn't turned completely to the dark side she should understand and forgive CK and be lasting friends. Can you guys IMAGINE if Lana, Chloe and CK made it a mission to stop Lex! Lex wouldnt have a chance because Lana knows how Lex thinks!! HA BUSTED!!

Great job. She was on the revenge warpath. Lex really made a big mistake underestimating her.Shes using the old keep your friends close and your enemies closer play. ANd K K really expresssed her emotions well to convey just how angry Lana is and much she intends to get revenge. Great Job by old Kristen. That was surely the highlight of the epiusode, as Clark went to save somebody and ended up needing saving, and the Wife of the missing trooper got zero closure.

If 'this' Lana were around during the Jason Teague era in S4, it wouldn't have been the meteor that killed the Son of Teague :eek:

Lana has come into her own. She has had it with all the crap that's been dished her way, culminating in this sham marriage. With the (glaring) exception of her inexplicable love/loyalty to Clark Kent, Lana isn't going to meekly let things happen to her now.

She was prepared to let Lex die (not to mention take Lionel's life) -- this Lana is on the edge and she'll do what's necessary to survive in this world, and she's through being fought over like some trophy. We've seen how the others have reacted to all the "Secrets and Lies", and this is how Lana is dealing with it.

I was thinking 'it's about damn time' when Lana blew off the suitcase locks with Lex's gun. It took six years -- let's hope this edgy Lana sticks around and eventually tells both Lex and Clark where they can stuff their all-too-frequent, after-the-fact apologies.

I'd have to say, as much as I hate Smallville's(I don't say Kristen Kreuk because its the writers fault as much as hers, she can only act out what they write)interpretation of Lana Lang, this was one of the few episodes that blew me away with her character. Her character by this time had been hurt in the worse way by a man she at one point loved and she had an opportunity to be rid of that world. I loved the scene where she does a Lex like thing to do, she blast some classical music to mask the gun fire as she breaks into Lex's suitcase. Brilliant musical choice and editing. This brings me to my theory, she kept her mouth shut about the tunnel plans until she learned Clark was down there. What if she tipped Will Keenan's wife about what really happened to him so she can get rid of Lex, without dirtying her own hands. As rare as it is, Lana has gone and does go to extremes for what she considers a "Greater Good"
