View Full Version : "I feel like your stalker ex-girlfriend."
Oh man, there's a lot of memorable quotes from this episode, haha.
That entire 'voice mall' conversation from Chloe was hysterical.
"... Not that I was ever your ex-girlfriend. It was an analogy. A bad analogy. Okay, this is awkward. Okay, call me."
I immediately thought of Alicia when she was stalking Clark, hehe. But yes, good line.
Lol that was such a cute message. Poor Chloe. I wish they showed Clark listening to that message later on

I agree it was a cute little message. It made me think of a theory but I'll keep it to myself. And they should totally show Clark listening to it.

Other than all the scary Lana lines, the Chloe scene probably was the best written. :) Lurved it, lurved it, lurved it.

I loved Chloe's little message. It was cute.:)
Crap, we should be worried about Chloe, when she starts to relate herself to Alicia. j/k........I thought it was cute.

it would be cute if Clark makes some reference to it later, like;
"Oh, well if it isn't my stalker x-girlfriend! how ya doing today?"

You mean, the part in the original post?
There was more to it at the beginning, she was asking where Clark was and said that she's kept calling him. And then she launched into the feeling like a stalker ex-girlfriend bit, hehe.

it seemed like she wasn't making a reference to alicia. because when she corrected herself, she said "even though i was never your girlfriend" not anything related to the fact that clark did have a stalker ex. i think the writers are still hinting to the chlarkers like me that they (chlark) never really resolved anything. whether it's just a tease i don't know.

The way they play on the drama he'll probably come around right before she dies in the series finale (if she does).

I agree, tho the moment was cute I dont think it was a reference to alicia but more so to chlarkers. If u notice both girls got out of the car at the end but only lana ran ahead,I felt as tho chloe's convo was jus a way of tptb showin us lil chlark hints. But nothin 2 big,jus teases as usual  .But luv that lil bit by chloe tho,it was definitely a light moment in the epi :)

Ahh, I know she wasn't making a reference, but that's what I immediately thought of because I've been watching my Smallville DVDs of the older seasons lately, hehe. :)

Alicia never enterd my mind at all...
I think it was totally about how worried she was that she repeatedly called without him answering, so she said: I feel like your stalker x-girlfriend.
Then she felt awkward for saying "girlfirend"... and tried to explain it:
"... Not that I was ever your girlfriend. It was an analogy. A bad analogy.
Okay, this is awkward. ...."
Definitely a little Chlark tension there :)

I agree,I think it was to show her concern and that it was alil more than friendly. From the way she was explain her frequent calls it was more like a concern luv one and she tried to explain herself.Which is what made the scene funny  ,so definitely alil quick chlark tension thrown in.But I felt bad for her later when she look as tho she wanted to cry when talkin to lana about clark dyin.So it justifies her constant callin, cause she was truly worried.Luv that message tho :)

Why was she so nervous though? It was like she was calling him for the first time to ask him to go out on a date with her or something. Maybe she was worried but until she knew there was Kryptonite down there, what was it worrying her? Or did she even know at the time he was down there?

Yeah that line was 2 cute; and I am wondering if tptb are still teasing us with chlark. . .I definitely sensed some tension between chlana tonight. . .Both of them feel threatened by each other. . .Chloe (afraid that clana will get back together and that lana will take her place as confidante) and Lana (jealous that Chloe has known the secret all along). . .I dunno, but I got the feeling that the CHLARKANA triangle was ressurected tonight:eek:

Well she knew he was down there which is why she was callin, remember she told him to hurry before the search party saw him use his powers.I 2 can understand her panic when she realize it was greenk down there but that was after the call.Thats why the scene is so funny, cause the way she was talkin I agree it sounds like she was askin him out or sumthin  ,she was definitely nervous. And at the time we dont kno why, cause she didn't think he was in danger when she called only afterwards.

there was no exchange with that message. it was just a monologue. Wuts retarded in the writing is that they manage to cancel out any of the chlark with horrible clana interactions and convos. imo..so no one cries.

Chloe was nervous making the phone calls because she knew Clark should've been back within seconds of entering. I think she was worried about what could've happened to him since it was taking a long time for him to get back. Then when she learned of the GreenK her fears were realized.

She voicemailed him and later on saw the meteor dust on the cops's dress...!!! So...she wasnt aware that Clark was in danger before....!!!

ditto!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It looks like clark is now getting off tha Lana blinders but Chloe is still trying to be a good friend to both Clark and Lana...though she still has feelings for Clark....!!! But IMO...Lana has now taken the reverse direction and might hurt Chloe because she has become evil!!!!! But anywayss..I love the new LAnaaa!!!! ahhaaa...!!!! Just loved her!!

I thought it was really weird. I don't understand Chloe's awkwardness/embarrassment. Clark should have been back with Lex by then, and being worried is perfectly reasonable. Actually leaving a message is a little odd (if he was in the tunnels he wouldn't be able to call her back, and she'd know he was okay as soon as he was out so there'd be no reason for him to hear the message), but being worried was nothing to be embarrassed about.
I do wonder if this was some supposed to be a clue to the audience she wasn't over him (since they didn't want to horn in on Lex's moment during the Clana hug by showing Chloe), but it still seems awkwardly done to me.

I agree, and now that u mention feel the same...I think maybe they thru that line in from chloe to show her feelings were still there, while cuttin the scene where she runs to clark at the end.Cause they clearly focus on clexana at the end,but showed chloe's concern thruout the entire epi atleast til the end.So maybe that was their intention and explains why the scene was cut at the end, they prob felt the voicemail was enough :\ .Tho I would have luved both if they kept it :D
