Evil?

I know I shouldn't be happy a person has gone to the dark side, but this is Lex Luthor.

And the way Mike has been potraying him, this is as iconic as Lex Luthor can be, or at least starting to be.

I like parts of it, but I still think the baby storyline is stupid. I also definitely think that they should do without the future greatest criminal getting KO'd by Chloe.

Hate evil Lex. But it was his time to become person who is meant to be.

He has hardly arrived, but he is getting there, finally.

I have really missed Lex. He's been Lana's lap dog all year, so this was absolutely the coolest. Rosenbaum delivers a scene like no body else and the speeches he gave on this episode were great.

I think we are just seeing the bare bones of his evilness. I think - and really hope - that we see him fully commit to just being evil. Next year should be the year for a full-out Evil Lex.

I'm overly excited that Lex is finally becoming evil. He still has a way 2 go in my book. If he was really evil, he would have threaten Lana 2 marry him instead of Lionel, and still faked her pregnancy! I can't wait 2 see him full blown evil, I'm counting down the days!

Lex sort of went "BAM. Look at me. I'm evil." No continuity between this and the episode Lexmas (my favourite btw) where he chooses to do the wrong thing (go after Jonathan) in order to ultimately save Lana.

I like my characters complicated, not all white or black hats, but I know this is Lex Luthor, and evil is his destiny. Poor Clark - his destiny is wearing his underwear on the outside ;) (Just kidding - I love Superman with a fiery passion)

I kind of miss the days when he was friend and mentor to Clark.
But on the other hand this is Lex Luthor.

I’m still waiting for a defining moment which I always thought would be Lex killing his father by his own hand.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I wish the friendship had lasted longer (past 3 seasons). I thought that was very compelling tv. Lex and Clark played well off each other. I thought the storylines that could come off it were more exciting too. It's not so black and white/good guy vs bad guy as someone also mentioned above.

i'm sorry, i'm having a hard time believing the way they write him now...i think i could have done without the stegasaurus vs duck conversation...

Whatever issues we may have with the show, we can be grateful that they got it right (as close to it as possible) re: Lex's fall from grace. Sure, there were a few bumps in the road - likely because of time constraints, but while Lex's fall into darkness has been more of an evolution, Clark's rise to become the greatest superhero ever will seem far more rushed, IMHO.

The Lex who wouldn't bat an eye at threatening Chloe, her mom or anyone who might get in the way is a glimmer of the kind of Lex who'd have the guts to challenge Superman with little fear.

Lex was always supposed to become bad, it's 'how' he got there which became such a great theme in SV.

Even when he's at his worst, if you're a Lex fan, ya gotta love it. What we should want is to see Clark actually step up to the plate and be truly worthy as Lex's nemesis. (The jury's still out on that one until series finale) ;)

This episode truly pushed Lex over the edge in terms of morality. He did evil before but he was just so awful in this episode! I liked it because that's what he's suppose to be but hated because he's such a SOB!
