Did they cut the meteor shower from the flashbacks?

I was surprised that we did not see how little Chloe and Moira got infected in the first place.....

I mean they showed us how Moira left her daughter, in a flashback. Wouldn't it also have made sense to explain how mother and daughter got hit by the mketeor shower??? I mean, we all know that technically they were not residents of SV yet, right?

I thought at the time we had spoilers explaining that and I was VERY surprised it was not adressed today. Could it be a re-write...? Are TPTB maybe planning to make Moira's power hereditary?

Interesting question you've put on the tables. I admit it would have been good for the episode to have shown a flashback or two showing how they did get infected. On second thoughts it would have been a freakin brilliant idea to have shown just a quick flashback to show what happened. We can only guess i suppose but man o man it would have been dandy to see and know what really happened to Chloe and her mother in regards to being meteor effected.

Then again what if by some wierd chance Moira was 'somehow' already infected and like you said ^ 'passed' it onto Chloe. Meh sounds a bit off the bullseye i know but hey its Smallville right? :D

I got that it was definitely from the first meteor shower and so can't have been passed on to Chloe from her mom. It would have gbeen cool to see that as a flashback, though. But, it was probably one of the many things they could and should have shown us that had to be cut so we could have another pointless and boring conver between lana and Clark.
