View Full Version : what will lana do...lex/chloe?
now that lana knows about lex faking the pregnancy.
Lana might not care too much about herself been in danger or about lex lying to her.
But if lana ever finds out about lex messing wiht her best friend, chloe.
What do You think will lana do if she finds out about lex's experiments on chloe?

Lana'll definetly be siding with Chloe this time. She's made it extremely clear why she married Lex and how she feels about him. And no matter what anyone argues about Lana not being deserving of calling Chloe her best friend, the fact is that's how Lana sees her. She trusts Chloe and Clark way more than Lex at this point.

ya lana hasn't been anyones best friend lately. it's funny how she turned to Lex because she didn't want to feel alone, well look at her now she couldn't be any more alone

Lana has NEVER been anyone's best friend. She's been self centered and self-serving since the beginning only now it's out there for everyone to see and can no longer be denied. Clark and Chloe tried to warn Lana but she wanted to be with Lex and refused to listen. That is well documented despite the crap retcon that was Promise. And after the locking Chloe in the wine cellar, an act both unfriendly and astonishingly uncaring even for Lana, no, Lana cares only for herself and I wouldn't expect her to go out of her way for Chloe or anyone else. Her martyrdom for Clark is as hollow as it can be. SHe is nobody's friend.

Lana will be with Chloe. Especially now when she knows about her faked pergnancy.

I was thinking the same thing! Lana should kick Lex's butt for what he's done to her. And Lana hasn't been a good friend to Chloe, but Chloe has still been a friend to Lana and I think Lana values that a lot. So it would piss her off a bit if Chloe went missing and it was a Lex's fault.

Have you ever considered chloe's opinion. She thinks lana is her best friend. Lana also thinks and says that chloe is her best friend. Who doesnt fight with their best friends sometimes? Who has never argued with their best friend?

I've argued with my best friend before, but in the end I listened to her too. Lana chose to basically ignore what Chloe was saying about Lex. Now it's difficult for Clark and Chloe to fight Lex with the gloves off b/c they have to think about Lana. Now she's not only put herself in danger, but also has made it easier for Lex to get the upper hand on Chloe and Clark.

Lana should be left out on the island Lex was marooned on. She's betrayed her "best friend," remained the self-centered B!T(H, and needs to duke it out with Lex, and then find Clark has FINALLY come to his senses and embraces Chloe as The One, leaving little Miss Pink in the dust.
Lana has only been worthy when she was Lanabel.....

i couldn't agree more. And the only reason why I can't bring myself to believing that they are best friends is the shear lack of evidence. I mean all we have to go for is their one bowlerama night and the fact that they were roommates (which isn't that much of a valid arguement, not all college roommates turn into best friends...close friends maybe). Even then, we're just to assume that they built a 'strong' friendship during that time. It bothers me that we were never shown that. And it bothers me even more that I have yet to recall a time where chloe has called clark her best friend considering their history. If there was plz someone remind me.

As much as I think Lana can be selfish and Clark should be in love w/ Chloe not Lana I really do hope that Lana goes to Chloe about the faked pregancy thing. And I hope that Chloe tells Lana she is on Lex crosshairs and that she can't do anything until Lana is safe. Even though Lana has been selfish before and she was way out of line about locking Chloe in the cellar Lana and Chloe are still best friends. And I'm hoping Lana will be a good of friend to Chloe as Chloe has been to her.

I don't think Lana suspects Lex of messing with her pregnancy. That's a big thing to accuse someone of and she can just as easily suspect the doctor that told her she was pregnant in the first place.
Do we know that Lex experimented on Chloe, or did he just examine her (really closely - what was with those tubes in her mouth?) and take DNA? Chloe doesn't even remember, so what's she going to tell? I think Lana could care less about Chloe. She treated her like a spying personal servant.
When it all comes down to it, Lana will chose Lana. And only Lana.

You don't think Lana knows Lex was the one who faked her pregnancy..?? It wouldn't really be hard to figure out. Lex hired his own personal doctor and wouldn't let her go to anyone else, he was the one giving her the "prenatal vitamins"...I think Lana knows it was Lex. Unless he finds some way to side step it like he always does. Who knows. But...I do think Lana will finally come around and side with Chloe and Clark. I don't think Lana has been a good friend to anyone. She always has to play the martyr, when it's really not necessary. Chloe and Lana are friends...yes, but Chloe and Clark are the only best friends on the show. But I think Lana has finally reached her breaking point...but she will continue to stay with lex because she's afraid of what will happen to Clark. As stupid as that is!!!! ;)

I don't see how Lana will not expect Lex for drugging her. She did find out about her doctor dying of a car accident on the day of her wedding. And then she finds out that the sonagram was faked. The doctor faked it then he confiently dies. Lana isn't that stupid.

Oh yes she is, if after all of this time it has finally occurred to her just how special Clark really is and just how evil and vicious Lex is, to have sex with a pig like Lex Luthor, not to realize just how much Clark once loved her, she has got to be the stupidest person in Smallville. Whatever misery and unhappiness that is now going to befall her, she certainly has it coming, and it justly deserved.

I think Lana hasn't suspected Lex YET. When she found out she was pregnant she thought her and Lex were in love and that he was "the only one who was honest with her", so why would he do something like that to the woman he loves. I think it would take a few days for it to sink in, logically and not emotionally, that Lex could be the only one to have had the opportunity and whatever motive to do this. Good point about the doctor dying chol-el - I forgot about that. It does look suspicious and will help her point the finger at Lex.
I totally think she will come to see that he is the one responsible (well most likely - we actually don't even know for sure yet). Then it will pit Lana against Lex, Clark against Lex, and Lex against Clark who will be sticking up for Lana.

Lana is going to suspect Lex if for no other reason than she has no other suspects. Particularly since it reinforces her suspicions about why Lex wanted her.
When she asked Lex if he wanted to shoot Clark to protect her or to harm Clark I think we see Lana looking at Lex realistically.
With just a moments thought she will only logically come to the conclusion that Lex had her pregnancy faked in order to pressure her into marrying him.
If she doesn't go to Chloe about this (and warn "them" about Lionel's threat) then she really is an idiot. I mean I foresee a covert deal and all - pull it out till the season finale, but she gotta be helping Clark and Chloe bring down the Luthors before they get to Chloe and Clark and the rest of the JLA.
Up till these last few episodes I have been thinking that Lex was going to end up as the President... but I am finding it hard to believe that there is anyway the gang will be safe from Lex unless destroy his empire and drive into the underground like the Lex in the movies.

I like the way you think CDLBLUE! Any fool could see that Clark was deeply in love with Lana. Even when he told her he wasn't, you could still tell he loved her. When Lana hooked up with Lex, she sealed her own fate. Now, it does make me a little sad that her life has to be so hard, but it's her own fault, so I quickly stap back into reality. That's the way Chloe and Clark should be towards Lana too!

Watch seasons 2 and 3 sometime, dude! Chloe and Lana were really chummy back then and you can really see how they used to help each other deal with their issues they had about Clark.

I disagree...it wasn't as clear cut or as easy as it seemed...I could give all of the reasoning and examples as to why but I am too tired lol but I will quote a character that I believe said it best when it comes to how clark 'appears' to others when expressing his emotions... Ian (the meteor freak that could separate himself) to Clark ~ "You put out more mix signals than a transistor radio"
Something like that...it has been a while since I saw that episode lol...Anyway, I am not saying Clark is wishy-washy with his emotions either...we as an audience know he truly does love Lana and we know why he says and does what he does at times (stop sleeping with her/tell her he doesn't love her/RedK actions/love you don't love you in Phoenix...in Red...in Rush/etc...etc.) but unfortunately everyone else around him (that doesn't know his secret) doesn't.

I agree....I think Smallville insinuates enough to indicate that these characters interact more than what it shown on screen....I would also love to see more of the simple aspects such as conversations, bonding, going out but this show doesn't really spend to much time on that it is rather just implied.

She'll stare into the mirror at her perfectly applied makeup and breathe deeply. lex will enter the scene, she'll says omething lame like 'did you know you were slipping me hormones' - Lex will flash his innocent outine and claim the dead doctor insisted on it- and they will share another half- hearted hug with Lana staring over his shoulder.
'When it all comes down to it, Lana will chose Lana. And only Lana.'
Cause shes selfish and shallow- and when can she move to paris permananetly and never get screentime?

I disagree. Lana will be with Chloe. She will want revenge for faked baby and for being blackmailed to marriage by Lionel. Other thing is we have seen many times that Lana loves Chloe. She's her best and perhaps only friend. Lana doesn't love Lex. She loves Clark and Chloe. She will be definitely in Chloe's side.

I just hope the writers give us a warm moment where Lana makes up with Clark and Chloe for everything that she put them through before the season is finished. It'd be nice to see some closure before the sh*t hits the fan!

oh, come on. after being lied to for 6 years by the person you love more than anything, wouldn't you want to find out the truth? anything she did wasn't to hurt chloe, it was to get the answers she'd been waiting for.
how many times did chloe dig too deep with clark? she kept files on her computer, she was ruthless in "truth", and she worked with lionel to find out clark's secret.
so, before you go off on lana about chloe, think back on how chloe has treated her "best friend".
