did this episode seem kinda short to anyone else?

i don't know why but this episode seemed shorter than the other episodes to me. did anyone else feel this way?

yeah--it did--it seemed like a lot was pushed and rushed ....and chloe and her mom didn't have much time together....but there wa s a lot to cover....

Yes! It was a little rushed. Still amazing but I would prefer a longer one. Maybe that is why she may be back next season...

I was as well - I liked this episode. Wasn't the best ever but still was a good one. I liked that Clark actually took action and clearly watched out for Chloe and didn't fawn all over Lana. Lex was evil, good shots of the DP, Carter was in it, got to see a bit of 33.1, did I mention evil Lex, strong Chloe, solid Clark, bad bedside manner, nice truck, nice pants, and another new episode next week. what's not to like. ;)

It was only 38 mins long as most have been lately. The good old days they used to be 41 to 42 mins long. Cut two mins off each episode and you've lost a whole episode over the season

grrrr.....really? only 38 min that does seem a bit short......guess those 4-5 extra minutes do matter. :\

Actually considering how bad it was and all the plotholes and rearranging of established Smallville history (e.g. Chloe's mom left b/c she was a coward, NOT b/c she's a meteor freak), it seemed too long to me.

^ well, i have learned to stop asking for continuity a long time ago...so that doesnt bother me.

i too thought it was short and a bit rushed. there was a lot to put in though...it felt a bit choppy to me sometimes...

but this epi was used to advertise alot of other SV related stuff...(eg: Justice and Doom Chronicles-which too alot of time, and ED announcement at the end)...so maybe it was purposefully done

This episode did feel short to me, it felt like it should have been more to this story. They should continue this story at another time.

It seemed short. There were so many commercials plus the comic book piece took up time too!

I timed it. it was only 38 minutes long, when episodes used to be 43 to 45 minutes long.

38 minutes long. that means where were 22 minutes of commercials. that is ridiculous!
