Yeah - it would have been the first assumption for the doctor - just because most guys wouldn't give their wives drugs to act like they were gonna have a baby. :p

Still - the doc was a little out of line just saying that to Lana like that - he needs to work on his bedside manner.

It's weird how Lana now is starting to get the upperhand on Lex since she found out what he did and Chloe seems to be the one who Lex is currently controlling. Everything kind of flipped around in this episode.

It seems to me that the reason Lana found out is because she went to a different doctor when Clark rushed her to the hospital- a doctor who wasn't in Lex's pocket.

Well he prob didn't think the doc would test her,remember the doc did recommend it after clark brought her in.All lex knew was she was attack,he didn't even go visit her,so maybe he didn't kno she was taken to the hospital/how bad the attack was.But I doubt he knew the doc would suggest checkin her out since she jus had a miscarriage

I feel so bad for Lana! She is just so torn apart since with Lex. I'm really glad that they show her so upset over losing the baby, they didn't just brush it off. I wonder how long before she connects the Lex dots.... hopefully soon

Yea...it seemed sloppy on Lex's part, but he had no reason to believe they would check for the baby...because Lana new it was gone. I think he burned the pictures of the sonogram incase Lana ever did find out, and tried to use them against him. I imagine she's going to look for the pictures now...and Lex conveniently made them disappear. I actually did feel really bad for her...that doctor had some nerve. I understand were he could reach the conclusion he did....but ask her about it before you bite her head of....geesh!

i agree this time they could have been nicer to lana at hospital it was clear on her face she did not know what he was talking about!! he just outright accused her!!! she had tears in her eyes and had that baffled look on her face of disbelief man is she gonna get revenge!!! one more thing if it was me i would have told the doctor @!#$ ^&* !!! i really did like how kristin did though lana did good in this episode

I think that was actually cool. The doctor was right to assume that, IMO.

He was burning Lana's medical file - the one that obviously held evidence that she was not pregnant and instead, being administered hormones. The baby picture was supposedly the ultrasound photo of the baby which, of course, never existed.
