With super strength. His strength seems almost a match to Clark's. I'd like to see these two go one on one one day, but I doubt that'll happen.

What do you think of the freak?

I think that if he had that power he probably should have just used it on the two guards. He sorta just let them just him around.

They had the tranquilizers with them. Apparently, he's not indestructible, which is kinda of a let down.

..And impractical. It's expected that someone with super strength has at least a strong skin or resilience to attacks. Oh well.

It seems all that is required to break out of 33.1 is motivation--this guy almost made it. Why hadn't he done that already? And why wasn't he restrained when he was going to be experimented on?

Ummm... Invulnerability. Clark has it. He doesnt. He can dish it out, but got taken down by a tranq, so he can't take it. One hit, he goes bye bye.

What ever happened to the freak that attacked Lana? Did Chloe bring him in or let him go when she realized he wasn't controlling himself? I would hope she let him go.

The freak with strength (forgot his name)--wasn't he played by the same guy who played one of Eric Marsh's friends in Witness? And in that episode, they used krypto-roids to get temporary strength. It would be amazing if they would have revealed him to be experimented on to an extent that he would permanently have that strength. I'm almost certain it was him.

Not really....one can have super strength but not possess invulnerability or a degree of it. Augmentation of musculature or increased strength can be totally separate from the enhancement of the composition of the body and its durability. You can increase the mitotic fibers in your muscles and gain more strength, but it doesn't make your skin and muscle tissue resilient to puncture or damage.

Clark still has no idea how strong he is and he tends to hold back on top of that.

you cant have useful super strength without your skin becoming stronger.

think about it. when the guy ripped the sink or whatever off the wall. if you or I had that kind of pressure put on our skin it would be crushed/torn beyond belief. he was fine.

i mean if the guy punched a brick wall. he might have the strength to do it, but if his skin is the same as ours, then there wouldnt be any left on his hand after a feat like that.

that makes your skin being broken by a dart ridiculous

that's not enough "pressure"- not enough tension to break skin. no one knows the physics of super strength augmentation it's just fictional. Your example about the brick wall is just a golden rule that you would think that all fictional characters with super strength would have tough skin.

Here's a better idea:

think about spider-man. He has an amazing feat of super strength, his body composition and skin is more durable and resilient beyond human levels, but not on a superhuman level where he is invulnerable. He has high resiliency against keyword BLUNT force trauma, but can still be penetrated by bullets, knives, etc. And if given substantial injury can be defeated.

This looks as to apply to the super strength freak. I never said he didn't have tougher skin and composition, but it's resiliency is not on a superhuman invulnerable levels.
