Don't you find it suspicious that Lana has a miscarriage right after drinking the cider that Lex offered her? Do you think that it was a coincidence that Lana's regular doctor could not be reached and Lex had his own doctor take care of her? I wonder where the fetus is now, and what is special about it? The baby, my friends, is not dead! It is some special place being brought to term in some artificial womb. "Son of Lex" could be the long awaited anti- Christ.

Everything involving Lex is suspicious, IMO...

probaly because Lex was feeling guilty for killing Dr.Langston and for what he did to Lana that he didn't want to bring it in the world

I am also wondering if Lex himself isn't just a pawn of the Master of them all, Lionel Luther. Don't you think it odd that Lionel knows about all the secrets surrounding the baby? Even on the surface, Lionel knows a lot more than Lex. He knows that Lana doesn't love Lex. He knows Clark's secret. There doesn't seem to be a single thing that Lionel doesn't know. Everytime Lex's operations get exposed, Lionel comes to the rescue by making everything disappear. And to top things off, Lex never seems surprised. This has to suggest that Lex knows that his father knows about everything. Which may mean that all these projects are only managed by Lex, but the real architect is Lionel.

Lex is planning something with the baby? where would you get an idea like that? Maybe several episodes ago when it was confirmed? j/k

I am just wondering how much of the baby plan is Lex's and how much is Lionel's. You have to ask yourself why such a diabolical person like Lionel so friendly to the Kent's? Why is Lionel keeping his son's arch enemy still alive? What does Lionel need Clark around? Why did Lionel sabotage his son's political aspirations and put the Kents into power? Against all of this, it seems that Lex is less of a player in the whole scheme of things than his father. And this leads one to believe that Lionel is playing a master game on everyone, including the planet.

If Lionel is not behind the baby plan, then, it could come down to this: The only way that Lex could finally put his suspicions about Clark to bed is if he cloned him. Using some of the blood that he had hidden someplace, he cloned Clark and placed in Lana's womb (I don't know when and how Lana could have slept the whole procedure). This way, he could have his own little Clark to examine.

I would find it difficult to imagine that the show's producers would allow Lex to abort a fetus, considering that the show is one that is supposed to be a "Family Show" (to a degree) and the right to lifers would go crazy. This means that the fetus is still alive. The problem arises when one must consider that if Lex still had a sample of Clark's blood then he would know that it is not human blood. That would mess up things, story-wise. (If I were Lex, I would do my best to get a sample of Clark's genetics. If you are growing, you are shedding. Even if you are from Krypton. I would steal his pillow and extract the dead skin and do an analysis.)

If the baby is a clone of CK, then he would have to steal the baby and raise it as his own superson. That would complicate things as well. Lex would have to know that Clark did it. This leaves us with only a few options that would keep the story line alive and well. The one that I can imagine is this: Zod left Lex with information to manipulate or provided actual genetics to create a superbeing that would one day be able to challenge Superman in the future for the domination of the world. Maybe that's why Lex had his nightmare. This child would be even more dangerous than him.

For Zod or his allies/minions, if he or they can't get into our world, maybe their information can. DNA, after all , is nothing more than information whose expression results in a living thing. Those instructions encapsulated in those strands give direction to amino acids to form proteins, which in turn form the necessary components for our existence. It would be like us going to another planet with the instructions on how to build equipment that could be used to develop a planet, instead of transporting the equipment on the spacecraft, thus saving on fuel.

It was no coincidence... didn't you see him check his watch?

"Ok its about time for that drug i gave her to kick in"... i can just hear him thinking that.. I think he was surprised by how much pain she was in. I'm glad that devil baby is gone. At least now she is free from lex once she figures it out.

I have two thought's:
1. Lex have still the fetus and is planning somehting with it, something amazing bad!!!!
or
2. He just needed Lana for few month's to get some result's! Maybe he is planning that some people will get some freak children ( like the one which was in Lana).

I cannot belive that Lex felt guilty!!!!
