Did anyone else think of Lillian while Lana silently sat in the nursery. I sure did, she's on her way to being just like her.

Lana is far from being Lillian.

lillian was sick and was suffering from PPD, lana didn't have a baby, but losing one is just as painful, if not more.

post partum depression. it happens to some woman after they give birth, they get so depressed, and feel as tho they dont want to even like look at there baby, like they dont love them and stuff.. idki guess thats what she had..i confuse myself

I think they might paralelling Liollian with Lexana. Leonel did had a wife and wanted to make a family with her but she realized how evil he was and that drove her insane. Maybe the fact is that they are reversing it by having Lex being the one that "killed" the baby.
I think it would be an interesting show down when Lana founds out the truth I wonder if Lex wouldn't try to kill her or maybe that will be the favor that Lionel asks to Lex to kill Lana if she becomes a thread :eek:
Of course this will be the reason why Lex kills his dad to save Lana :rolleyes:

I dont see Lana dieing because she is in the comics and movies. I know it is sometimes annoying that so many relationships and other things have to happen if DC says yes.

I dont think lana will die. I dont like her that much but I dont want her to die. What do you think would happen to THIS CLARK KENT if lana was killed by lex. His destiny will be ruined and he might not get lois because he will think he does not deserve to be with someone because he will hurt them like lana. This is how clark would react if he is still inlove with lana.

Lana won't end up like Lillian because she will recover from whatever Lex had done to her. I think her anger and need for justice after she learns the truth, will drive her to pick herself up and start again fresh.

^I hope you are right in that Lana picks herself up again. But Lana has Clark to help pick her up and Lillian didn't have Clark to help her and that could be the difference. I just see the same path for now until the time that Lana picks herself up.

I honestly think Lex killed the baby because he knows he's turning into his father and he couldn't bear for his children to go through the same torture he went through for his whole life. Just like Lillian's killed her son to save him from what lex called LIonel's "particular brand of parenting." Man, that shot in the end with lex crying in front of the fire was a great shot. Finally they captured some conflicting emotions in Lex. His evilness combined with the tragedy of a man who only wanted happiness but couldn't escape his heritage.

Lana and Lillian both have been trapped by the luthors. Hopefully Lana can get out alive, unlike poor Lillian.

yeah, but Lana getting together with Lex to begin with wasn't exacty a smart thing to do. She knew about lex's past and she still shacked up with him. We all know that Lex's mother was trapped and Lionel wouldn't give her a divorce. Yes lana is having a normal reaction, hell who wouldn't react that way if they found out that they've lost something they really wanted and loved. Lana and Lillian both fell into the dark abyss of the luthor family.
