Lois present during "Man of Steel" and "Kal El"

She's not suppose to know about Clark. Yet she's there to hear Clark dubbed The Man of Steel and hear Clark be called his kryptonian name (which she has already heard some one say) by Titan.

I'm guessing she either doesn't have very good hearing or that blow to her head is gonna make her forget all about it.

Or it could just be lack of continuity.

Smallville is the show best known for it's continuity so I am sure in the next episode Lois is going to ask Clark about Kal-El.

Just because he gets called Man of Steel doesn't mean the people watching would know he has powers.

I don't think Lois heard Titan say "Kal-El".
Because to me it looked like Clark didn't even hear.

And since Clark's "Man of Steel" was called first, maybe Lois didn't hear because she was behind the gate.

lois is generally too oblivious to make much notice of what is going on around her, probably she was looking for a mirror to look at herself and think about how hot she is, or maybe how 'good' she is compared to others.

Well you would think that with being called the Man of Steel, then nearly breaking Lois' hand when she punched him, Lois could put two and two together.

That being said, it probably won't ever come up again. :)

Lois presumed Clark stuffed a steel plate under his shirt for the fight, which isn't that far a stretch to think since she doesn't suspect anything of him and thinks he's just a regular farm kid. If it were Chloe pre-mid season 4 or Lana, something would definitely come up, but this is Lois. Also, Titan was too far out of hearing range for Lois and probably Clark as well to catch him saying "Kal-El!". If he did, Lois would've reacted, which she clearly didn't. Yes, she caught "Man of Steel", but not quite "Kal-El". She's also heard him name his dog "Krypto" and been inside the Fortress, doesn't mean she's gonna link everything together.

Well, since they were in a Fight Club and Lois wasn't going by her real name either - I doubt she gave it a second thought. She was probably more concerned with trying to survive or at least put up a fight.

I'm sure that she'll have some questions about Clark being there at some point - the same he'll have for her.

But I wonder how much of that feed got out and if you can hear the people talking in the ring - since Clark said 'Lois' and she said 'Smallville' and then you can tie in 'the man of steel' and 'kal-el' - any super freaks want an invite to hunt down Clark in Smallville, line forms to the left.

It was funny when Lois punched Clark and hurt her hand, but she is certainly not supposed to figure anything out from it. I did not quite catch the line of Lois assuming Clark had a steel plate under his shirt. But given that it was just supposed to be funny, we should not be expecting any follow-up from Lois.

i think lois will wonder why he was there i mean she punched him and it hurt so shes guna be like wtf? and also im pretty sure that some1 working for lex was watching so i hope he finds out soon

I agree that no one heard the Kal-el part.

But Lois was called out first and then the "Man of Steel". So she definitely heard that.

I believe they both will ask each other why they were there (probably off-screne), say it was for a story and probably blow it off completely.

And I do think Lois will start to see Clark differently.

well i dont think lois is in the next 2 episodes (correct me if im wrong, im too lazy to double check right now) so if anything DOES get bought up, it probably wont be until lois is in the show again..

I don't know what the fuss is about. It's not like Lois is an actual vixen either, they had to give Clark some stupid fighting name, nothing strange in that. And even if she heard Titan calling Clark Kal-El, she's never heard the name before and she had better things on her mind than to listen to babbling of some bloodthirsty killing machine who they met for the first time.

Actually, she has heard the name before. More specifically, in the season 5 premier "Arrival" when Nam-Ek and Atheyer clearly tore up the Smallville Medical Center, she sees them trying to torture Jonathan into revealing where he is. It's made clear she hears the name when she says "Look, super freaks. You wanna find your Kal-El buddy..." Reasons why Lois didn't hear Titan say "Kal-El" was 1: She was on the other side of the ring and most likely out of hearing range while 2: It's not like Titan yelled the name, he said it pretty lowly to an extent where Clark didn't seem to notice him till the cage door rose.

When Titan said "Kal-El", Lois didn't notice what he said, because she was too busy thinking, "Wow, Kane can talk!"

LOL maybe... but with these writers she'll probably just forget by the next episode.
