Why didn't Clark ask Jor-El how to send the zoner back into the phantom zone? Maybe he doesn't have to kill them

The crystal only traps phantoms that possess people. It can't trap Zoners that already had physical bodies when they landed. We learned this a loonnngg time ago.

Jor-El's will is no longer in the fortress. It happened in Zod episode. Haven't you noticed that he have not spoke to him in a long time.

But will we see the Fortress again? In episode 6 (Fallout), didn't we see the episode end with the Fortress being lit up with Raya bringing it back?

Yeah thats what I was thinking. If the FOS is back then Jor-El should be too I guess
I could be wrong but the only people who told Clark that he couldn't send them back to the phantom zone was the zoners themselves. They had to get put there some way before

i don't think clark knows the FOS is up and operationally lit and ready for his use.

That is very good point and as mentioned in this thread, Clark will surely be called to the FOS somehow. But he was there when Raya was restoring the FOS, I guess I just would have though Clark would have realised the FOS is back.

Yep, like in the season opener when he fought Lex/Zod, he had a quick nosebleed as he was getting punched in the face. It healed in like 1-2 seconds though.

I was wondering the same thing he could had repowered the FOS with the crystal and ask Jor-El's help...is he dumb or what?

I think Clark did use the crystal to repower the FOS at the end of "Fallout". That was an obvious conclusion. Raya told him that he could use the crystal to restore the FOS, so I just assume he did it.
The reason Clark is not going to Jor-El for help? The writers do not want to use Jor-El so much. If Clark went to Jor-El for help as much as he should, he would have far fewer problems. That would make for less exciting TV. Al Gough said that "Clark knows that he cannot go back to train with Jor-El until he takes care of all the phantom zoners." It's not a very smart statement taken literally, because training could help Clark with the phantom zoners. What Al Gough was really saying was "we don't want Clark to get help from Jor-El, because that would make things too easy for him, so you are not going to see Jor-El for awhile".
Jor-El is a very powerful being, and the writers do not want to overuse him. Not to mention, Jor-El should be able to summon Clark whenever he wants, but we hardly ever see that because that makes things too easy for Clark.

There has to be an explanation that makes more sense.

Jor-El sent most of these people to the Phantom Zone in the first place. It really makes no sense for Clark not to go to the source. I also don't get the whole "I'll train *after* the greatest challenge in my life." This is like taking the LSAT first and skipping law school.

He only bleeds because he's been struck by a force greater than his flesh could resist. These guys could catch bullets as if they were thrown like a soft ball. Breaking the skin of another person who is also nigh invulnerable would be simple enough.

His training could take months, whilst those zoners are up and about causing havoc. LOOK no further than Titan and Aldar. Aldar was eating people and Titan was beating them to death. I won't start about the plant woman.

Lets aide the writers: Jor-el wants nothing more than to fully train Clark with all his knowledge. The training may take a while. A very looooonggg while. I'm guessing a year or more. Jor-el won't just tell him the means of defeating the zoners because he wants Clark to be fully prepared for any and everything. Clark won't start his training until all the zoners are gone. Season seven may see the return of Zod Fines or both. As powerful as Jor-el and the fortress may be, the writers may introduce some one far greater in power.

I thought that's what Raya died for in the first place...

I think Clark doesn't know about the rebirth of the FOS and as shown in season three Jor-El wants clark to finish his tests before continuing to the next level so to speak and I hope I'm right about this and in the finale either Jor-el himself or that annoying family sound will call Clark back to the fortress to begin his training

The fact that his training could take time is the only good explanation I can think of for him not going back until none of the zoners can do any more harm. If he does go back to the FOS, starts his training, then realizes he has left more zoners alive, leaving his training prematurely again (like he did in arrival) would simply piss Jor-El off even more and cause more nasty "Reckoning-style" punishments.
Clark knows the FOS is powered back p--he's the one who did it.
And he specifically said that he would return to the FOS to complete his training AFTER he has returned or killed all of the zoners.

And to be honest, I seriously believe that the program of Jor-el actually has love for Clark. He wants whats best for him even if Clark doesn't realize that himself. He only took away his powers to have Clark return to his training. But Clark being the obstinate kryptonian he is, still refused.
I'm sure though that regardless what happens Clark won't leave his training once its started.

Yes Jor El will call on Clark again. I believe by the end of this season, Clark will need all the help he can get to put the zoners back in their place. Jor El will help him do so.
All about Clark

I think Clark powered up the FOS when he made the vow to train and doesn't know that it is up.
Clark knows that when he goes to train, he's not coming back til it's done or Jor-el releases him. So he's trying to take care of business before he goes. Besides, everytime he's asked for advice from Jor-el he couldn't do it Jor-el's way, so it's just as well.

Jorel told Martha that his destiny is now his own, so I suppose it's up to him what he chooses to do.
