Clark is the ultimate BDA! Leaving the corpse?!? What the hell?!? Didn't he think that anyone else would find that corpse interesting? He could have easily disposed of it... burned it up, thrown it into orbit, thrown it in the ocean... but just to leave it there? Knowing what he was?
Yeah. Right. A good episode, and they mess it up like that...

I think he was more concerned with Lois's health then getting rid of the corpse.

And he's not strong enough or fast enough to do both? Excuse.. nothing more or less. And hello... heat vision... burn it up...

Ew. If he were going to do that, I'd prefer it stay off-screen!

Off screen, on screen, whatever... just do it and be smart... start leaving alien corpses around, and people are likely to think its an invasion LOL... and how exactly do you do an autopsy on a Kryptonian, anyway...
Well he wasn't Kryptonian. Just a phantom. Otherwise clark would have had a little more trouble finishing him!

i dont think he was Kryptonian. He could of been another type of alien like the guy who ate bones a few episodes ago was.
But then again he had those symbols...but Clark said they were prison symbols..i guess we will never know....

He's a BDA alright.

I know! What is with him showing off like that? With the connections that Maddox has with Lex it is a good thing for Clark Maddox was killed. Very convenient indeed :\

i thought the worst bda moment was bda and chloe looking at the tatoo and chloe saying " hey bda is that kryptonian?" before bda realized it. go to the fortress for petes sake

He was a Zoner (with his own body) not a Phantom (who would've had to possess a body). Just needed to clarify that. You can't use the terms interchangeably.

Your right. It's always one step forward two steps back with Clark. He needs a cleaner like Lionel. News report "Large strange looking man dead in car accident"
Lex isn't much better though. Did any of his people record the show? Lex would of seen Clark in the ring, found out Titan was an alien and maybe put two and two together that Clark is not just a meteor freak.

i think clark forgetting to dispose of body is a sign how upset he was. he is forgetting to cover his tracks. i hope this comes up later. i really like angry vigilante clark.

There were phantoms and then Zoners. Some of them were phantoms and possed people but others were actual beings that Clark had to take down.
I don't think Titan was Kryptonian because when he called Clark a Kryptonian he said it with distaste etc - I think that Titan was just a warrior that had been modifed and the tattoo was just a prison tattoo etc. Just my opinion though.
As for the body - if Clark had done something with it then Lex would have never had a new insight and a new direction to go towards now that 33.1 is having some compromise issues. They needed that to move towards another story arch I'm guessing - but that being said. It was sloppy on Clark's part. Doesn't he live near a bit lake? lol.......

Well by Lex finding the body we now have more to add to the story, so maybe it will come up again that would be cool. If he would have gotten rid of the body we would have that.
As for him showing his powers he had to do something to get to titan. This was the only way, if he wouldn't have done that this episode would have had to be contiued and that would have pissedoff everybody, starting with me.

While angry vigilante Clark is cool - that's Batman territory and Superman and Batman are always at odds over things like killing - so I think that Clark will just start to use this experience to find a middle ground for himself.

<begin rant>
Okay - so let's say you're Clark Kent. You're obsessed with finding the escaped Phantom Zoners that you unleashed upon Earth. Oliver tips you off about a fight club with a Phantom Zoner Main Event. You then find out that the people he is fighting are Smallville meteor freaks - who you know Lex is also experimenting on in 33.1. You get into the fight club, you go though a lot of effort to destroy the recording equipment and you kill Titan.
THEN YOU LEAVE THE ALIEN KRYPTONIAN BODY THERE!! DID YOU NOT THINK IT WOULD END UP IN LEX'S HANDS?!
WTF?!

Yup. He was telling Martha later that the doctors say Lois is going to be fine so it means he took her to hospital after the fight.

That's still an excuse... being concerned over someone's health can't make you sloppy, or else everyone will know who you are and what you can...
...nevermind. Everyone already knows. Except for Lex. So why worry, right?

Join the discussion in BDA! ... that's what that thread is about, and people are actually *defending* him... right.
Well, he didn't know any weird obsessed bilionaire would want to take a better look on some prisoner...

I think so too. Also Lex’s team had arrived soon after the fight. I wish they would have showed us instead of airing all the commercials.

Clark doesn't really think things all the way through when he does them. Him leaving that body there is typical Clark, it's just that this time Chloe or somebody else wasn't there to clean up his mess.

Clark and Jonathan, had always said that saving a life was more important than keeping his powers secret. So he felt that getting Lois to the hospital first, was more important than covering up alien existence. No one could connect the body to him anyway.
And someone else pointed out the internet security was so advanced according to Chloe, the fight couldn't be downloaded or recorded.

Once they are dead I assume their bodies no longer act like a transmitter for the sun which gives them their power. a dead body i think is a dead body and would lose it's infallibility.

I agree with that - just because he had the kryptonian tattoo doesn't mean he was actually a kryptonian..........

i'm saying if he were Kryptonian...he'd be dead and not channeling the power of the sun. his body would lose its power.

You and everybody else that has mentioned the plot point thing are right. It's just such a stretch with no explanation at all.
As for him showing his powers to Maddox. "No other way!" How about follow Maddox around secretly! That might do it. He would've found something that way surely.
Also, I know Chloe said there was no way to record. So that's why Lex's team could record. But we did see that Chloe was able get pics of the fight so why could Lex's team? Heck they could even use a digital camera on record to record the screen.
It's all just sloppy writing, but, honestly the awesome fight scene made up for all that.

Nope, there is the FOS, like Raya, hell, even ask JOR EL what he can do to put the others back in the PZ instead of having to kill them, I swear, its one thing that we dont get to see many FOS and Jor el scenes, and a nother is Clark acting as if Jor el, didnt exist, besides wasnt he past the rogue child fase??? Didnt he say in fallout he wouldnt run anymore and in Zod that he shouldnt listen to Jor el, etc. I thought he was, if not warming up to Jor el, at least was cutting him more slack, since learning what he did for Krypton, yet there he is brooding in his loft about having to kill zoners and not knowin what to do, when he is one superspeed and a portal away from a very plausible answer to his dilema.

Whether "Alien "or Kryptonian--not even a diamond-encrusted hydraulic jack should've been able to pierce his skin--or he wouldn't have been able to stand toe to toe with Clark.
I guess we'll have to buy the "dead alien body decay" theory....

We know from seeing Clark bleed, that Kryptonians have red blood. But wasn't Titan's blood black? At least it looked that way to me. Also, Kryptonians don't have a bone spike that they can shoot out of their arms. I think that if Titan was Kryptonian, then Clark would've gotten rid of the body. But since he wasn't Kryptonian, he figured that the body couldn't be traced back to him. But at the very least, Clark should've heat-visioned the kryptonian tattoo.
