Seemed like a nod to us fans. A lot have people have been joking about her ability being super-sleuthing (for those of you who don't visit the spoilers/theory section).

It's like the writers have been reading this forum and found us about our speculating that she's a "super sleuth."

And Clark's serious face was just hysterical in response, hehe.
Sooo happy about the continuity in this episode! :)

It was definitely a joke. People in the spoilers section have been making that speculation, that super-sleuthing is her meteor power. I think some of the show's writers visit these forums.

True it was a joke,but I think she only said it to lighten the mood.Clark seem angry and she tried to get a smile out of him when it didn't work she turned back to the search which she cameup empty on.But I think chloe notice sumthin was wrong wit clark and tried to ease sum of the tension even the look she gave him at the DP seem as tho she 2(Along wit martha)was seein another side to clark.Clark not laughin was funny and the comment she made as well,but I agree I doubt thats her power

I chuckled at the reference as well. I do feel like sometimes TPTB are giving us a shoutout.

I enjoyed the Chlark in this episode, btw. :)

I always thought she had some kind of power with relations to computers. Up until last night, she was able to hack better then the best hackers in the world-In the real world she would have had a few visits from the FBI for her hacking-but last night proved that wrong.

I don't get how anyone can say the writers probably got that idea from us. If i had to guess there are 10 or more forums right now that are talking about her ability. and what you are trying to say is that we are the only ones that can think of this. there are probably thousands of people out there that are thinking the same thing. i would think the writers could think that up all by themselves. i mean that is what they are paid to do, and went to school for and they probably had to have a little smarts to get the job.

I thought the scene was funny but I really wanted to knock Clark out. We get that he's moping over Lana but Chloe is his best friend and he was a jackass to her last night.. I like the fact that she was like, "Don't jump down my throat." I think Chloe would totally rail on him if he ever truly was rude to her.

Well. It isn't far fetched. Even the writers know the only thing Chloe is good at right now is hacking. They started her off as a reporter but all she does is surfing now. No wonder her power really IS hacking related.
