Fanvid - Heroes - Shadow On the Sun

Hey everyone. I finally got around to making a new video. I used Audioslave's Shadow On the Sun, and set the video to scenes from NBC's show, Heroes.

I only had Movie Maker available, so it is not effects-driven at all, but I am pretty happy w/ it since it is a great song and a great show.

Hey Chris,

Great video man. Really good song choice, worked really well. Always been a big fan of Audioslave/Rage Against the Machine. Was cool to see a Heroes vid set to a song by them.

Nice opener. Mohinder looking through his dad's research and then cutting to the flashback-dream sequence was a cool way to start off the vid. The grayscale was a nice touch too.

Liked the lyric matches with Parkman and Isaac. Really good clip of Parkman in the conveinent store, hearing everyone's thoughts. Went really well with song.

Great transition from opening shot of the Earth to Peter on the rooftop. And then finishing it off the with the fast forward, really liked that sequence there.

The clip of HRG screaming was cool too. I dug the color change and overlays on that. But gotta admit seemed a little out of place. Kinda took me out of the song a bit. Might have been better like right before, leading into the chorus instead, when the beat picks up. But still badass none the less. ;)

Peter's vision was a great way to end the vid as well. Such a cool scene from an awesome episode. Worked well to close out the vid too, because it pretty much has everyone together in it.

Had a few problems with playback during certain parts of the vid. Framerate seemed kinda choppy at times. Could just be my comp though..

Overall, really great video Chris. Glad I caught this one. Was just doing a quick check in to see what I've missed, and luckily saw your post.

Enjoyed the vid alot. Needed a Heroes fix to carry me over, with the show being on break for like 2 freakin years now (maybe exaggerating a bit)... :p :lol:
