Ok, so I've been really excited about this episode for the past couple of weeks and I even read: "There is a shocking twist..."

So...what was it? If they really expect us to believe that having Lana go through with the wedding was their big twist, they need to get their heads examined.

On another note: I'm finally glad she knows Clark's secret.

I wonder what will happen once Lana learns Lex killed her doctor...Will they get divorced? Hahaha.

i'm pretty sure that lana finding out, lex killing the doc, and lionel threatening clark and blackmailing lana was the twist. (and to a lesser extent lana being underhanded and stealing clarks secret)

lex killing the doctor was a big twist for me.

i thought that lana stealing the secret was a possibility.

i knew the episode would show the return of "the Bastard."

This isn't the spoiler section, so I can't give away the twist except to say there is one.

This thread is for the discussion of the ep so I hardly think it's a spoiler to say what happened. It was, without a doubt the worst ep ever and made the hero out as a nasty homewrecker to make out with a girl who's about to be married and is pregnant with that other man's child. Clark couldn't have looked worse, everyone but Lana was OOC and Lana herself was shown in an even worse light than ever before; she's a lying hypocrite who endangered CHloe to find out Clark' secret, didn't have the guts to break it off with Lex before the wedding if she did really care for Clark and was in general a girl unworthy of anyone's liking much less loving. Unless this is revealed as a dream we can look at Promise as the ep that killed Smallville. But then I've always said Lanaville would be the deathknell of the show eventually and I think we just saw proof of that.

Lana is no martyr for marrying LEx to keep the secret; she's a nasty witch who cares only for herself and it's totally her own fault for being in this position. She deserves no sym[pathy whatsoever.

I suppose the twist is now Lana is the one keeping a secret to protect Clark.

I think the twist was Lana finding out. Either that or Lionel blackmailing lana. I thought the entire ep was a twist cuz it wasn't what I expected. It was even better!
