Will Lana accept Clark for who he really is?

Man, I think of all the times Clark could have come clean. But after the Reckoning debacle I dig his reluctance to divulge his secret. But surely a "Lana, I have something really big to tell you but it could get you killed" would be an appropriate opening to the discussion.

Ofcourse she'll accept Clark. Remember in the Freak episode, she told Clark, "Even if you were meteor infected, it won't make a difference, you'll still be the same Clark Kent," hence, she loves Clark for who he is.

Every time the creaters have hinted that Clark might tell her (like in the season 3 finale) something else gets said and Lana stays oblivious to his secret but still knows that he has one.

I betcha tonight she's not going to find out and Clark will end up saying something like...

This post is really weak and has already been answered in the latest episode. She already accepted it 3 weeks ago and then she really accepted it when she cancelled the wedding and told Clark she would meet him in the barn just before she kissed him. Did you guys not see the Promise episode. Her thinking that he is metoer infected strong or an alien has no bearing on her decision. The fact that he his different is the key and she has already accepted it. Very quickly I might add. The girl sat down with in seconds and dumped a guyy at the altar through a letter. Man that is Harsh. She is cold hearted. Man that would have been funny to see Lex's face after he read that letter. SWEET LORD. She always did, before she suspected and still now. She does accept him. How many times does she have to say it to get that through!!...apparently too many times to count. Tonight was the icing on the cake...Lana was willingly going to leave Lex without looking back the second she saw the real Clark. Even before he started to tell her about his secret, she already was writing the letter to Lex, so whether he told her then and there or not didn't matter to her...she heard Clark's reasons for keeping his secret from her and that was enough.

I went with yes because it's been building up for a long time and hopefully she's a little more mature now and will be able to accept Clark as he is - I kinda thought she's accept him regardless all along anyway - but I tend to not focus on the 'relationships' of the episode - I prefer the episodes where there is less gush and more action.

A little less talk and a lot more action please........

Although that being said - I did enjoy this episode - it brought about a lot of various discussions that have been highly entertaining.

Dam straight they wont. Very true...she did forgive him in that instant. All this talk about 'protecting one another' is true but quite boring now IMO. Lana gave in to Lionel cos she was 'protecting Clark' and Clark never told Lana his secret cos he was 'protecting Lana' and now we have a person and a Kryptonian feeling like crap all because they've been beating around the bush for 6 seasons. I just really can't see Lana and Clark ending up together. It's too big a deviation from the comics, not to mention not fitting with their characters. They don't love each other, IMO. It's just lust. Clark's idolized her since the beginning, before he even knew her. There's no reason he loves her except "love at first sight" which means he thinks she's hot. As for Lana, if she would only NOT marry Lex because Clark has superpowers, that doesn't seem like love. Her "affections" have always been based on his secret, not on him as a person.

In the 2nd wine cellar scene of "Promise" which is Lana's POV, Chloe tells Clark she knows he would rather be strapped to a boulder of krypton than come to the mansion and rescue her. She didn't say this in the first wine cellar scene of Clark's POV. Plus she saw him use virtually the same powers Naman and Aethyr used during the second meteor shower. Maybe she'll soon figure out he is Kal El too.

And in freak she said to Clark that Clark Kent would be the same when he would be a meteor freak. She saw the good things he had done with his powers. Lana told Lex, that she still love Clark!
And when Lana will know the whole reason, the whole truth why Clark hadn't told her his secret and that he told her his secret once in reckoning, than she will understand it more than now!
