I like Heroes but I find I only need to watch an episode once. My Smallville obsession has me rewatching episodes over and over. Smallville is easily still no. 1 for me.

I have tried to watch heroes, but it just doesn't excite me

Maybe i should watch from the beginning

I like both of them but Smallville is my favorite. Scrubs and Monk are the only shows that compete with Smallville for the top spot

Noooo...

But the fact is that Heros is more interesting right now than Smallville...the writers are not doing any justice to any of the charecters in Smallville..!!! Anyways....Smallville is my #1 priority(in terms of shows...lol) but Heros would come on #3..(#2 is Supernatural)..

and the fact that in Heroes...Milo is the only hottt guy...the asian guy is funny..but thats about it!! but nobody compared to TOM.!!!!

Why would you have to leave Smallville for Hereos?

I watch both because they are on at different times and are completely different from what I've seen.

Hell no. No Zeroes for me. The only other shows I watch (other than sports) are House & Supernatural (and 24 occasionally), which are on at different times. And Smallville would still be my 1st choice if these were on at the same time.

I can actually manage to scrape out 44 hours of television per year to watch tv, so I don't have to make such absurd sacrifices.

I've never seen one episode...but it looked good in the promo previews.

No, but the difference is I am actually excited about new epsiodes of Heroes while Smallville at the moment is fairly predictable and repetitive.

I will never leave Smallville for anything. It is currently my favorite must watch show.

I like both shows, but Smallville is still number one.
For starters, Heroes is amazing the first time, but after it's lost that sense of surprise, it's not that interesting. On the other hand, I can watch some eps of SV a dozen times and still love them.
Secondly, I just don't feel that attached to the characters on Heroes, so if someone dies, I'm just like "so." Maybe it's just because it hasn't been on long enough though.

That's the best thing about Smallville. You can watch episodes over and over and over and never get tired of em.

As for Heroes I never had the chance to watch an episode.

NO IM GONNA GO WITH SMALLVILLE TO THE END!

No way!

The only reason Heroes is even remotely interesting is due to the the former Smallville writers on that show.

Plus, I did not like how the 7 minute Spiderman 3 clip was used to intice people into watching Heroes last Monday.

NO smallville was here first becides they don't air at the same time so I can record both of them Live and watch them multiple times till the dvd comes out.

Right now, I like Heroes a bit more because they really keep the plot rolling. More plot, less ship lol. The end of "Company Man" ep was really moving too. I still like both but Smallville plot needs to move faster.

Smallville tends to do things Mytharc style so the plot rolls about every few episodes. Generally, there well be a mythology episode (where the main plot of the season: i.e. Zoners) get expanded upon. Then there are stand alone episodes to fill in the gap.

Common sense, right there.

If I recall correctly, didn't Smallville have a few minutes of Batman Begins during the Season 4 finale?

I watch both Smallville and Heroes. But when Smallville ends next year after it's 7th season, Heroes will take its place IMO.

plus, yeah, they are completely different.

I actually watch a lot of tv now, it's my support system/crutch/cause for not having a life. i watch by schedule.

monday: heroes, and studio 60(I was probably studio 60's biggest fan, and i miss it :( )

wednesday: lost, misc back eps of smallville or anime that i have on DVD, or webisodes of daybreak, etc.

thursday: Smallville, duh. then the also tivo'd 30 rock, scrubs and the office.

friday: whatever i missed from earlier in the week, or whatever NBA game is on.

throw in a little G4TV and miscellaneous espn programming, and i have an entire list of crap i could cut, and still keep heroes and smallville, which are the two best things on my programming list.

Well I will still watch Smallville :) and I've watche Heroes since it first started. BUt no I'm not leaving SV for Heroes I like both actually though I do wish SV would do better with the characters since I know a bit about the Superman mythos now .

I am a fan of Supernatural also. I just wish more people would watch that I will be angry if Supernatural doesn't get picked up for a 3rd season. Also I'm just curious am I one of the few male fans of Supernatural?

That's what I'm saying! No need to make this some "big difficult" decision. Just watch them both.:D

YES.....MAYBE....NO

ive been watching Heroes S1 and SV S6 at the same time. Now i wasnt looking forward to Heroes that much but it was such a surprise for me and i totally enjoy it.SV 6 also had me skeptical but ive thouroughly enjoyed it.Some moments suck but other than that it KILLS AND I MEAN KILLS 40 minutes so quickly :P

Remember!!!!! Heroes is in Season 1 and SV season 6.Now a show in S1 is always good as the writers ideas are flowing and are brilliant.Ask yourself this? Can u see Heroes still lasting for SIX seasons.... ? i think theyd struggle aswell.New show vs Establishd show.

Both gr8 ;)

Personally, I've watched every episode of Heroes this season. I can't say the same thing about Smallville.

Like someone already said, Heroes is better at storytelling, character development and there's no ship... also they write every character with justice... they don't belittle one characters writing to better another.

Meaning it's a lot better than Smallville even during it's first season.

And for whoever said you haven't gotten attached to any of the characters on Heroes yet... wait a bit longer.

I personally didn't get attached to any Smallville characters until the second season and didn't watch an episode over and over again, until again the second season.

Story wise, Heroes is a far superior show. But that doesn't mean I'll ever give up Smallville for Heroes. Hell, I've been watching Heroes since it started and I still watch Smallville every Thursday.

I haven't seen heros, and may like it. However, I would never leave smallville to watch it. From what I hear, heros is sort of an xmen knock off, or mutant x. I'm sure it's great, but I'm a superman fan, and a fan of most dc characters. I like the characters that are already in existence. It would take me a little time to get to know and like the characters of heros. Not sure I really like the actors.

Let me think about it... NO! :D
Heroes is at a completely different time and even if it wasn't, I would still choose Smallville any day, any time.

I thought that maybe I would like Heroes, but after watching just a few of episodes I wasn't interested anymore. Smallville has a nice touch of drama and comedy (thanks mostly to Chloe) and just seems less dark. I go nuts if I miss a Smallville, but there was nothing in Heroes to make me even want to watch another episode.
