If another terrorist attack takes out NY in like April, what will happen to Heroes?

I don't think the important issue will be what will happen to a television show if a terrorist attack takes out NY

I mean like, what will they do about the explosion that's gonna be happening in the show? will they just cut it out, out of greif or what?

I don't know. It wouldn't matter to me anyway, the fate of the show. As much as I love Heroes, the possible destruction of the city I live in is more important to me. We shouldn't be wondering what would happen to a TV show if millions of people are killed in a terrorist attack.

I do not think that anyone will be focusing on the tv if that happens except to get news on what happened. The whole coutry would wind up in a state of shock for a few days. There would be bigger things to worry about than Heroes.

I mean like afterwards, will they change the location of him exploding cut it out or what? Like in Spider-man the first movie when spiderman builds a nest between the two towers, they cut that out, delaying the movie.

None of us can predict what would happen to Heroes if such a tragedy should occur in nyc. But aside from how irrelevant the fate of Heroes season finale would be, in relation to the destruction of nyc, you shouldn't really be thinking so much about what would happen to Heroes if something as devestating as NYC's destruction should take place. Moreso, about how we would recover from such a horrible attack on our country IMO.

OK wtf is up with you guys, I'll just make a parallel statement:
Someone rights a really long poem about the 9 planets before Pluto was pwned.
should that person just edit it out or what?

You cannot put a what if scenario together for this it is in extremely bad taste. Not many people think about the actual destruction of a major metropolitan area on a regular basis, and those that do, they worry more about the state of the country as a whole, the aftermath of and recovery from such an event. I do not think the NYPD and NYFD were worried about what was going to happen to the Spider Man movie in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. If just such an event occurs I can almost guarantee that you will be the only one posting about Heroes.

Good lord! Should (God Forbid) something did happen to NY they will edit the show to reflect a happy ending of hope and rebuilding! They will have lots of time to do it also since the show will be cut for constant news cover of more important events.

Also if a main character were to die in real life they would kill that character off the show. Thats how they have done it for years.

I understand what you mean, the attack on the USA did make major changes on everyone's life not only in the USA, but around the world.
The event changed the entertainment world as well.
Many movies and TV programs were altered and past episodes have been removed from syndicated rotation that reflect the changes.

Still when I see the World Trade Center in a camera shot on an older movie I kind of do a double take and remember that day.

I am sure the original poster did not mean to offend anyone in any manner.

Actually when see the explosion in NY on Heroes, I too have wondered if anyone else thought about 9/11, and wonder if the production team ever considered the reaction of the viewers.

I watched as the second plane hit the tower live on TV and I was one of the people who was glued to the news stations for days afterwards.

It cant be any more offensive then Jericho in that way. Besides the NY explosion is the product of a person exploding and not a terrorisism acted out using explosives.
