As Linderman was discussing with Nathan in "Parasite", a person can either choose to have a life of meaning or happiness, but never both. Which have you chosen for your own life? Why?

I have chosen neither; I have decided to waste all of it on Heroes Discussion Boards!

Ain't nothing better on the weekend than to fire up the barbeque grill and throw on some hearty vittles.
Not only relaxing, but it really makes the neighbours more friendly.

Maybe we can talk them into a BBQ discussion board. That would have to make life happier.

OK, for an honest answer...
Meaning.
When I was younger, I thought I knew what true love was but I was wrong.
I truly did not know what true and honest love was untill I saw my newborn daughter for the first time, THEN I knew.

I was wondering, isnt it technically possible to have both meaning and happiness in your life at some point? You create a life of meaning, and afterwards, looking back with satisfaction on a meaningful life, can't you achieve happiness?
