has anyone else noticed nathans heart is beginning 2 melt?he seemed pretty emoitional when he went 2 see claire`s mom in texas.but the episode were i thought he was the most caring was in parasite when he helped hiro get in the casino even though he doesnt necisarily believe in all of this epocolipse stuff.maybe thats just my love 4 any1 who helps hiro but i think nathans becoming a cooler guy then he was originally.i also dont think he would have really killed linderman even if he could get away with it,but even if he did wouldnt it b self defense?linderman was tryin 2 kill him with nikki/jessica.im not sayin nathans perfect, hes not even close.but hes gettin better isnt he?he`s growin on me more and more.i`d love 2 hear your thoughts on this u guys.:D

I think he is becoming more methodical than he is nicer. Dont get me wrong I like the character, but they are setting him to be a part of something big to the story.

Nathan is growing on me, until the ep. "six months ago" he just seemed like he was doing everything he could to get to congress, accepting dirty money from Linderman. Basically being a ruthless politician. Last episode clinched it for me, though. They've added a lot of depth to his character. He still makes mistakes, but he's trying for the right reasons. However by the end of the season it should be clearer if he's going to help himself or the greater good. Personally I like him as a good guy that's more down to earth and realistic than Peter or Hiro.

I'm still a little confused about the end of Part one when he sacrifises his life to help his brother when he seemed to be happy about the explosion since it would eventually make him president

He didn't think it was acceptable to do that. He is more good than we all thought.

I always thought he was a good person.

Being a jerk doesnt make you a villian.

He just wanted to win the friggin election. All that hero and bomb stuff he didnt ask for.

P.S. If you read the online comic that featured him saving a child from a burning building MONTHS ago, you would have seen his true character.

Nathan has this ruthless side to him....He wants to do the right thing, but but he's not above doing shady things to achieve his goals...much like his momma..... He's more cold-hearted than Peter...... but he does get things done..... a very complicated and riveting character
