now that ted is under control by the company how/why do you think peter will explode(or atleast come close to it)?

-he helps free ted and possibly others (parkman) from the company, coming in contact with him then

-ted was a red herring and has nothing to do with peter, he will become so unstable with multiple powers that he blows

...and as a side note does anyone think he'll remember that he can read minds thanks to parkman?

I have two theories:

1. Maybe having both Ted's powers and Meredith's pyrokinesis at the same time causes him to explode.

2. Nikki gets near Peter forcing his "alter-ego" to come out and he's the one who causes the explosion.

What needs to happen is for Hiro to go back to before Sylar gets his powers and he was just a shop owner and kill him then, But then the show would be over faster. LOL . There has been so many twists in this show already.

I think it's more likely to be her dead sister. In the episode where Nikki's dad shows up, Jessica goes to his hotel and roughs him up for killing her when she was a kid and continuing to abuse Nikki.

Agreed, it's Jessica who probably had an "astral projection" type power when she was alive that allowed her to enter her sister's body, thus allowing her to escape her own body's demise when she was murdered. It seems this astral connection existed/exists only between the sisters (doesn't appear that Jess can hop into other bodies). It's not clear where the super strength comes from though....Jess is the only one that seems to exhibit it however it's Niki's body she's using.....so who knows

Peter had to meet ted, if not know then when?
What if peter were to be walking down a street in two days, four months or four years, if he ever comes in contact with Ted (or a Radioactive Sylar) or some one else who has such a destructive power, then he'll blow up then. And if Peters not the explosion then he's just the kind of person that could stop it. It would be his resposibility if the bomb were to go off, and he were hiding in some cave as far away from New York as possible.
He couldn't just run, otherwise the show should be called "Cowards".

Peter's not trying to avoid Ted, he's not sure who blows up at this point. As per the last episode, if it's Ted, he wants to be around to try and stop it. If it's himself, he wants Claire to shoot him in the back of the head, which he believes will put him down, possibly for good.

Before the episode started Monday, I told my wife about the 'drinking games' discusses on the boards.

When Sylar got his super hearing he had trouble getting used to it. It seems strange that he didn't have any problem absorbing Ted's power (unless the same thing that happend to Peter when he met Ted happened to Sylar but we just didn't see it).
