Ok so nobody startede a Linderman thread I hope. I looked for one but couldn't find one in here. I like the actor they got to play him. I ahve seen him in some movie but I can't remember what. Linderman seems to be themost enigmatic of any of the characters, and I want to learn more about him. Unfortunately it looks like he'll be one character we will lern like a grain of information about every 18 episodes. lol

He's definitely interesting. Kept cool the entire time. Which is a little creepy considering.

Maybe he has a power. Like he can control metal like Magneto or something else.

Was he how you imagined him? I pictured someone more gruff looking, but the personality they gave him was what I was expecting.
I'm sure some of you have seen A Clockwork Orange. Well Linderman is Alex from the movie. What great casting they did for a reputed mobster when his breakout role was the leader of a gang.

I think they should show him doing something pure evil from the get go and establish that he will get his hands dirty so that cant be wishy-washy later.

I couldn't imagine a better actor for the part.

Second that, McDowell plays that subtle evil so well, but he can also go abso-frickin-lutely NUTS if the need should arise

He was exactly how I imagined him. There was speculation about it being Malcolm McDowell who played him and I've seen him in a few things.
He does play the subtle evil guy really well.

Was he supposed to be gay? Cause it seems like he never married or had kids. I wish they would have had a hero as his kid or something.

There was no indication that Linderman was gay. Just because they never brought up a wife and children doesn't mean he didn't have any.

I know that Tim Kring was going to have a gay character on the show at some point and I thought it would be Linderman.

It was originally supposed to be Zach from volume one, but his agent nixed the idea.

I thought they were gonna introduce someone else who would be gay.

There are rumors that they are considering the idea for the next volume but haven't decided yet.

Noooo! You spoiled Generations for me.
Anyways.
I initially hated Linderman and I thought the actor was terrible. I was expecting a stereotypical mobster. But eventually the actor and the character grew on me.
The scene that cinched it for me was when he was asking Jessica to let him borrow Micah.
"Asking you was only a courtesy dear?"
That line was awesome. Linderman was awesome and I hope they bring back somehow. Maybe the writers could introduce a character with the power to bring back dead people.

If Sylar took this guy abillity do you think he would have used it to bring Linderman back to life after cutting his head open.
Litle bit more bizarre

Maybe he would have use it to bring Elle back. He did look kind of sad after she died. I guess he got mad at her and wanted to kill her but if you notice it look like he tried to stop himself but she can't heal herself like Claire so she died. I always thought he should have just let her go like he let that one kid go, forgot his name. Linderman abillity was'nt used much. They got to have somebody eles with the same abillity.
