I dont know if anyboxy brought this up already, but did anyone notice the similarity between the ending of this episode and the ending of X-Men: The Last Stand. I dont know if it was intentional but the scene was clearly taken from the movie.

XMEN: Wolverine is the only one who can stop The pheonix, because his healing powers enable him to close enough to her to kill her.

Heroes: Claire is the only one who can stop Ted for the same reason.

Ted and The Pheonix both give off fire.

I was thinking about the same exact scene while watching the episode. They did it almost the same exact way.

ya and claire and wolverine both "melting" when getting near the person and then slowly regenerating.

It only makes sense seeing as how Jeph Loeb is involved with this series and he is a comic book writer. Of course he would referenced other superhero stories with "Heroes".

That X-Men scene was so sad! I wish Jean/Dark Phoenix didn't have to die. :(
