First of all, I would just like to say how much I resisted watching this show. It has been on HBO for three seasons now, and the DVD release for the first season came out awhile ago. Everyone that has ever watched the show, touts it as being one of the best shows on television.

I finally decided to give into the pressure, and watch the show. So far, I am only 6 episodes through the first season DVD set. But the show has been amazing so far and it deserves every speck of praise that it gets. It is completely different than what I expected. All of the actors are amazing in this show. The best episode so far has definately been "An Open Book" where the porn star Vivica St John passed away. The tributes that her fellow co-workers gave her were hilarious.

Does anyone know when the second season of Six Feet Under is scheduled to be released on DVD? I hate it when the DVD released do not keep up with the seasons on TV. Take a look at The Simpsons. They are in season 15 on TV, and only three seasons have been released on DVD.

Boy, that's what I want to know( when the 2nd season DVD is being released)
Bought season 1 a long time ago and now, I check frequently at Amazon to see if it's ready yet.

I have only seen the first season on DVD and I loved it. I cannot wait for the second season to come out on DVD. However, from what I heard, the first two seasons are the only really good ones, and the rest of the show starts to go downhill with each season after that.

I still think that the best HBO show ever is OZ.

Oz was great but it lost a lot of it's flavor towards the end. As for SFU, it's a great show but unfortunately uses a little too much sexual shock value.

I have a bad feeling they are going to get rid of Arthur this season.

Got into this show late but I like it.
