Mohinder and Sylar/ Xavier and Magneto

Does Mohinder and Sylar traveling to various locations around the country to meet people with abilities remind you at all of Xavier and Magneto at the beginning of X-Men 3?

Maybe but I wouldn't compare Sylar to Magneto. Magneto, for all his wrong actions, has good intentions. He wants to perserve his people like Xavier but chooses force over diplomacy. Sylar is cold-blooded and selfish. Sylar just wants power and the thrill from murdering someone.

that's a great point...Moreover, Magneto & Xavier is always friends, good or bad.
