Wish clark flew like that.
I serious think they will get all the smallville fans who wish clark would fly to watch heros.

To be fair, the Heroes writers have a much easier "out" to be able to not have Peter have to fly every time it would make sense. Since Peter is not in full control of his powers, he will probably only be able to activate it in moments of extreme stress like that.
This would be a cool way to start the Clark flight, actually, have him not in full control of it so that he can't do it all the time.

yeah i guess that screws up smallvilles whole "it costs to much to make him fly" excuse haha. heroes has done it 2 or 3 times now :-D
yeah, but you know the Smallville fans will be spoiled after one flight and will b*tch when he doesn't fly again. lol

Heroes is a show on one of the big three networks, and as such has a much larger budget. Just because they can do it all the time doesn't Smallville magically has the money to do it.

yeah i guess i was just assuming they have a larger budget now a days because its one of the networks biggest shows and is in its 7th season but now that i think about it the CW is a pretty new network so they could be broke for all i know haha
In one episode - Peter has gone from a shivering pup to a cool character for me. I knew he had it in him to become a cool character - it is now clear that only he can defeat Sylar - it should be a badass showdown if they both have multiple abilities.
Can't wait til next week - but I wonder if Peter absorbing others abilities affects the original person at all - I mean, Hiro was going alone fine and now Peter can control the power but not Hiro....just something else to ponder about.

I would hate to be in Issac's shoes right now.
Peter reminds me of "Ultra Boy" from The Legion of Superheroes.
He has all the powers of Superman, but can only use one power at a time.

yeah - but when Clark starts flying about then it takes his powers to a new level - they have to keep him grounded to a point right now I suppose - can't be Superman all at once or else the show we need to morph into Metropolis instead of just being Smallville. And yeah - making a character fly out of situation is sometimes viewed as the 'easy way out' or a 'cowardly' thing to do......so they need to build Clark up more before they can make him fly around.

when did peter use hiro's ability? at first i thought when he stopped the taser thing it was time stopping but then i thought it was probably telekinesis.

Way cool flight. Loved Claudes reaction " What are you doing" and Peter just tosses him off the building. Gotta love payback right? LOL. Still it was cool to see.

To me...he stopped time and then they just fell to the ground. I thought he used Hiro's power to slow time down. The TK powers he used later on in the episode - at least that was what I thought. I could be wrong though ;)

yeah idkn i def think itd be cooler if he stopped time so im gonna say that thats what happend :-D

I thought it was Hiro's power when he stopped the taser leads, it seemed everything froze at that moment.

IT WAS Hiro's power Pete used to stop the taser leads. :)

Well, that's what I thought anyway. I mean, they only really did the slow-mo when Hiro was slowing down time. So if Peter slowed time and stepped back then they would just fall to the ground because he would be out of reach (I mean those things only go so far)
If he used the TK then he could have just sent them back to the mind wipe guy and gave him a spark.
:D
So how did they know what building they were on? Issac didn't paint them there did he?

He painted the building and the footprints - Claire's dad knew the invisible guy (remember....he thought he was dead...said so in the episode) so they knew to go there with heat vision to see both Peter and the other guy (lol forgot his name already damn)

I hope Claude comes back soon he was also a terrific character. That Peter flying was better than alot of the flying effects I've seen lately.

After looking at that scene again, didn't they *actually* use that very same background once or twice with the flying on Lois and Clark?

It sure looked very simuliar for sure.
I liked how he carried Claude on his back instead of his arms, Peter don't exactly look like he has a lot of upper body strengh, he needs to meet up with Jessica soon.

Yeah that meeting will surely go well. Though its inevitable really, remember shes after his brother.
Luckily his telekentic powers should beat her super strength.

Peter flying was awesome! Someone mentioned he's like ultraboy, and can use only one power at a time.I believe peter can use more than one at a time, with practice. It would be good to limit him to one at a time to keep him from being too invincible. To me he seems to be a lttle like the super adaptoid, in human, not android form, the way he accumulates abilities. If he meets jessica, he'll be the new superman. Peter's power check:
Flight
telekenesis
mind reading
future painting
time control( hiro used it for super speed in the museum!)
healing factor
invisibilty
and whatever other hidden abilities of sylar's that he absorbed that he dosn't know how to tap into

peter also has power of persuasion and possibly the ability to erase memories now
