Okay I think I can admit that I really loved the directing and angles and such done by Michael in this episode, very good.
I also felt the same way about Tom Welling's directing.
Then it occured to me, perhaps it's our subconscience that just adores something out of the ordinary, rather than the same type of scenes and camera angles we get in every other episode.
Of course there are other factors, such as costume, props and such that are added specially from the director. The angles though! ANGLES!
For example, I noticed that Michael had more direct on face forward shots, of Tom, Kristen, and I think a couple others. I may be wrong but more than usual thier heads are facing off to the side just a bit.
Who thinks my theory applies? When coming to any theatrical piece really.
