View Full Version : Green kryptonite shows up in a Clark X-ray, no?

It seems that if you go back to the first few seasons, the revelation of a meteor freak usually came with Clark scanning said freak and noticing copious amounts of flashing green areas throughout their skeletons. And yet, we just so happen to see a full body scan of Chloe tonight looking absolutely normal, without even a hint of green. Are we supposed to believe "dormant" kryptonite wouldn't show up on a scan? Or is this a hint that Chloe isn't infected at all?

Is this true for all freaks? I seem to remember that Clark saw Tina Greer glow green, with the kryptonite running through her system, but I believe he x-rayed more freaks and never noticed anything strange, or green about them... I don't think Clark has the power to be able to identify meteor freaks, just seems that Tina had the most amount of it changing her appearance, that it was most glaring to him... After all, Clark is no Tobias... ;)
Yeah, Tina Greer's body skeletal structure wasn't normal to begin with due to the soft bone disease, and the kryptonite in her bones is what gave her the ability to shapeshift. That's the only reason she looked "different". And when someone is meteor affected, IMO it isn't because they have "kryptonite flowing through their veins", I think it's simply the after-effects of their exposure mixed with parts of the environment. It's more like a radiation than a rock.

I was looking for the green in Chole also but looking back it seems like when Clark used his xray sometimes he could see the green and sometimes they were different in other ways besides the green. Chole looked totally normal tonight. Her acting was great though, probably the best I've seen her.
