Meteor Rock

OK, I'm probably the only one that this annoys... But since it was mentioned over and over in this episode, I just have to bring it up. Why, WHY is kryptonite still called "meteor rock"?? I just don't understand it... I mean, of course they can't actually call it kryptonite, but shouldn't it have some sort of name, Scientific or not? Maybe I just think the term "meteor rock infected" just sounds dumb, especially coming from doctors and scientists.... and don't even get me started on why the government wouldn't quarentine this entire town and declare it a bio-hazard....

Well, perhaps "meteor rock" is politically correct as "$hit from the sky" is something that can't be aired on TV

Clark, martha, lionel, chloe, pete are the only ones who know what "Kryptonite" is, calling it meteor rock avoids answering the "what is Krypton" questions... thus protecting clark.
